These work well in my fountain pen and don't leak. They're smaller than a normal cartridge, but ya get what you paid for cuz the price is just right!

Good quality ink for the cost

Yes and no. I bought these for my Diplomat Magnum fountain pen, and they do not fit. If I put one cartridge in, it doesn't seat correctly and falls out. If I put another cartridge on top of the unseated one then it holds everything in place, but the tip doesn't screw all the way back on and it's uncomfortable to hold. Having said that, the blue color is one of my favorite colors that I've tried so far. It's really dark like writing in black, but with a blue tint and it's exactly what I want for notes and journaling.

Delivery was fast and easy. The cartridges easily fit into the Amazon fountain pen. The colors are vibrant and well saturated.

I recently received a fountain pen with no ink annnd no instructions included. I had no idea which ink cartridges I should buy. I took a chance and purchased a box Ellington fountain pen ink cartridges. In the box were 12 black and 12 blue ink cartridges. I compared the Ellington ink cartridges with the cartridge I have in another fountain pen and found the Ellington cartridges were slightly shorter. I unscrewed the nib from my pen barrel and chose a black ink cartridge to load into my fountain pen. Inserting the small end of the cartridge into the nib, I pushed until I heard a click sound that told me that I had pushed the cartridge far enough. The Ellington black ink cartridge fits perfectly. The fountain pen did not immediately begin to write. On the Ellington website, it showed how to get a fountain pen to start writing. Flicking the pen several times over a piece of paper was enough to get the ink flowing. I wiped off the nib and began to write. The ink flowed smoothly and did not skip. I did not have a problem with the ink smearing. With 24 fountain pen ink cartridges, I should have plenty of ink for my two fountain pens to last a while. I now have a color choice with one in black ink and one in blue ink.

This is absolutely not waterproof ink. It reactivates instantly with water so it doesn't work with watercolor except as a final, final layer and it smudges with your hand if you leave it on the page for too long. It doesn't fit into my fountain pen smoothly and is quite loose, but my pen keeps it secure so that hasn't been a problem except when I open it to check the level. Other than that, it's decent ink.

Fits perfectly, looks lovely. Dries out a wee bit fast. But well worth it.

Have been through 3/4 refills now and seem fine. They do smudge if you don’t give them long enough to dry. I find I have to put a piece of paper between the pages of my journal when I turn the page or it gets a bit messy. Lovely deep colour and I feel I write much more neatly with my Ellington fountain pen than with any others I’ve tried. I have hypermobile ehlers danlos syndrome and my hands feel like they’re being crushed when I write. I love the flow, it feels consistent.
