Sadly discontinued
Absolutely perfect (Sony shouldn't have redesigned) excellent sound. Noise cancelling2.5 years lifespan (case charging port lasts 1+ years = but when damaged can only charge QI-wireless)not worth buying aftermarket replacement parts (Sony wants $80 just for the case = smarter to buy new)***only negative is no replacement earbuds*** (Europe had — branded — replacement foam earplugs = but plastic bans stopped the sales of these)Seeking a replacement — mark 4 — though larger sounds better and provides more bass (mark 5 = cleaner sound but TOO FLAT sounding @ No bass = also glossinessHoping — mark 6— version is created (but 2025 Sony products are — completely rebranded — everything (mark 6 is expected to be ULT truly wireless = lower quality and even worse than mark 5)***Buying NEW-OLD STOCK elsewhere*** currently $200

Worthy upgrade
I bought these as an upgrade from my older sonys and it has so far been worthy of the price. These are more dynamic and have alot of tech settings that Ive enjoyed experiencing. My only gripe is ive traded some volume for those dynamics. I like em louder, but otherwise they are awesome!

Good but slight uncomfortable
I like the sound but for my ear it is slight bigger for my ear.

Aesthetic casing
The noise cancelling works wonder. The mechanic of closing and opening of the case are smooth and clean.

The worst earbuds
The sound quality and the connectivity are nice. But that's just a shadow of the big problem. The battery life sucks I tried the earbuds the right earbud last for 30 minutes, yes 30 minutes while the left one keep a battery life of 88 percent. Let me say this I'm totally disappointed with Sony their product used to be reliable and good quality Now they are making cheap products that does last longer. This will be my last Sony product ¡THEY ARE NOT LONGER RELIABLE!

These are the best!
These are really awesome earbuds. I use them in a shop environment (noisy) and they work and hold up great. Third set!

Junk. My 5 year old $30 earbuds work better than new Sony WF-1000XM4.
THE BAD1. Horrible battery life. On a full charge, the right earbud shuts off after 20 minutes.2. All audio notifications ("Power on", "Noise cancelling", "Low battery") are in Japanese. Expect to spend 30 minutes figuring out how to change the language. Then another 30 minutes setting the settings to English. After figuring out the steps, then you must install the app to your phone. Then, after figuring out where to go from there, press "Next" or "Skip" a dozen times, and then expect 20 minutes for the thing to download the English voice.3. Large earbuds. I have two other pairs which each cost roughly $30. The other pairs are smaller, lighter, and have better battery life (they last several hours, whereas the Sony earbuds last 10 to 20 minutes).THE GOOD1. Excellent Range. Compared to a $30 pair of earbuds, while wearing the the Sony WF-1000XM4 I can walk 20% farther from the audio source and still have a stable connection.2. The soothing female voice of the voice notifications is the most pleasant voice I've heard.

Impressive. Be cautious though
If you're looking at a used or refurbished pair...These have had issues with the batteries not holding charges, discharging quickly, or uneven discharge.I've had two different sets I've ordered here, and returned them both for battery issues.
