Power Kick Extra Energy Caffeine & Glucose Tablets x 40

Bought these for those boring lessons where you find yourself drifting off, one of these keeps my eyes open, two if I'm really tired or want to be extra alert. Also if you're like me and find it hard to swallow tablets, you can let these dissolve in your mouth and they still work, the taste isn't great but it's not unbearable. I also appreciate how they come in 50mg tablets as a lot of other caffeine pills only come as 100 or 200mg and that's sometimes too much.

I bought these as they were consideribly less expensive than a better known brand I have used before. They were to overcome tiredness from some overnight flights when going on a long haul holiday. I took them when I felt tired and it wasn't bed time due to the time difference and they did seem to help get my body clock reset.

I like most people suffer from having a dip in the afternoon, I'm not too bad with coffee and I typically have a cup a day! On Monday I didn't have any coffee I started flagging at my desk by about 3pm, so I took two tablets by the guidance on the back which is very clear, and then I instantly regretted it because if I had a cup of coffee at 3 pm I wouldn't be getting to sleep that night as I'm typically in bed by 10!! Pleasantly surprised that I didn't feel wired and jittery when I got into bed at 10 and I had a pleasant seven hour sleep so for me they work fine!! Cheaper than another brand called PP (£6 in asda as i type this!!)

Have used prior to the gym, and long walks, 14 - 20 miles, I have not noticed any positive effects.

Like many people, I sometimes find myself having an afternoon dip in energy and often resort to strong coffee or an energy drink. I wanted an easier option for when " out and about " at work so opted for this product. The tablets are nice and small so very easy to swallow. They have a pretty neutral taste so nice and palatable. After 30 minutes or so I found myself more alert and more energised. I'd taken 2 tablets as per the instructions and this was a perfect amount. It was a good lasting boost of energy without the unpleasant side affects of increased heart rate or jitteryness that you sometimes find from some energy drink brands. I am happy with the product for the very fair price paid.
