Invested in this as Teen daughters room is ALWAYS boiling throughout spring and summer.We've tried all different kinds of fans in the past but had problems with them running out of water or not being powerful enough.This one is incredible!+ It comes with 4 ice blocks (freeze 2, keep 2 in fan) so you can rotate them and never be without.+ The water container at the bottom holds a huge 8LTrs of water so no need to refill all of the time+ Easy to fill up as it fills from the top and it gets sucked down into the tank at bottom+ The fan sucks up water from the bottom tank, and keeps just enough water in the top tray (along with ice packs) to provide chilled air for hours on end+ Cleverly sucks any unused water back down into the tank when you turn it off+ High power blow and you can change the directions+ Remote control & Timer Feature are added extrasSo much cheaper than I proper air conditioning machine.Just hope this lasts for years to come now 😊

working with cool option and cooling the room quickly within the first two days but after that it hasn’t worked. cool option just feels like a fan, it blows warm air all around, tried to ask for replacement as not sure if it’s just my one that’s faulty but no such option; recommended to refund and buy again but it wasn’t available then.it’s great for the first few days until it stopped doing its purpose within the first week and for the price you pay? not worth.

Lost one star as fiddly to fill and remove water rank for cleaning - the pump is not easy to remove. So might let down on quality if pump weakened.iOtherwise everything else is as described and does cool our lounge without having to use highest settling.I use ice not the packs supplier and chilled water.I would recommend as pricing offer was good and I have used larger aircon units before with similar results fir half the price. So good value for money.

The item did seem to work well in that it blows out cool air however it doesn't blow very far and its quite noisy, sleep mode is a joke, it goes slow, then a little faster then full pelt and then cuts out and repeats the cycle, its so noisy theres no way you could sleep comfortable with it. The cooling affect doesn't really do anything, adding the bottles and even ice cubes didn't do much, with the hot weather we had it really struggled.Also the 4 bottles provided all expand and one burst, I was in contact with the seller who sent me a replacement bottle but unfortunately all of the bottles expanded even though they were filled to below the max fill line.There is no cleaning instructions also and after 2 weeks of use at night the unit smelled really bad of damp, I ended up figuring it out myself and hoping I wouldn't break the unit.Have had multiple issues with the unit, was talking to the seller who offered to send our a replacement weeks ago and has never fulfilled it. Amazon has since started an investigation into this however nothing could be done to help me at all.

I was sick of fans blowing warm air around and being too warm. I saw the reviews and they were mixed on this unit. Let me tell you what I think.If you want it to cool a living room like air conditioning would, then this isn’t for you as it’s not an air conditioning unit.But what is does do, is blows cold/cool air and it’s beneficial if it’s within a few meters of you.It’s far better than any fan I’ve tried and it’s lovely to sit and be cool.Well worth the money and I’m buying a second so I have one in the bedroom.

As a big chilling fan it does the job, but it won't cool a room, only whatever is sitting in front of it a short distance.The sleep mode is a complete lie though. The fan operates the same as in eco "realistic" wind mode. It blows really loud, then goes slightly quieter then stops entirely, then flares back to loud again, all with this low hum as well. How is anyone supposed to sleep through that or dare call it sleep mode??Anyone claiming it's great for bedtime is outright lying!

After my utter failure with this machine I decided to do some further research. To be fair, the UK is not a country for evaporative fans - far too humid. Nevertheless, this was a fuss to set up and the fan strength is minimal. It did not change the temperature of the room by even a fraction oof a degree after several hours' operation. Buy yourself a fan or if you really need it a portable air conditioner. This is useless.

I've had this product for around 3 weeks now during the hot weather! Ive found it really helpful cooling us down. Easy to use and light weight. Cold blocks and water can be added to help cool the air more. Only downside is you cant remove the drawer at the bottom to empty/clean you just have a little plug at the back to pull out to drain the water from inside. Lowest speed setting not too noisy for sleeping. There are 2 other settings in it think its natural/sleep mode but i don't tend to use them. Overall seems like a good air cooler.
