This chair is exactly what is used in the hospitals and care homes for elderly. This was a jacuzzi bath conversion to a walk in shower and the seat is perfect for two 73 yo’s with fake and really bad knees. It’s strong, made of non-rust material and very sturdy. I think it can take a lot of weight, so it is for larger people who need safety and security. My hubs put this in and it required a heavy duty drill with specialized drill bits for marble/ceramic and porcelain tile. It uses really strong screw bolts to make sure there is no loosening and also very strong molly plugs if needed. He said it will never come out of loose. I’m very happy as the tub was high and difficult for us to step into after having knee replacement surgeries. This chair gives us confidence that we can safely sit and arise from seated position with addition to grab bars. We all get old and this feature is extremely helpful.

Use in my ADA shower room. Absolutely the right choice. I'm BIG, it is STURDY, and folds out of the way.

Although the seat is very sturdy and comfortable, it came put scratches on it and it was supposed to have mounting hardware and did not have any mounting hardware or instructions. That’s why I only gave it three stars cause I thought that that was pretty bad that they shipped it without the hardware

The best purchase I made in our new shower build for my handicapped wife. It folds down to adjustable front legs. Very well built! Folds up when not in use and does not unexpectedly fall

I have installed 10-15 of these. Won’t compromise on quality. I’m a general contractor and don’t have call backs. These are study and easy to install. Set backing before installing the shower if possible. Great product!
