Expensive but with value - little update
We have gone through all kinds of vacuums, corded, cordless, and robot. Still have a corded Dyson for deep, heavy cleaning. Went through the latest Dyson V11, nice machine but connections on the stick were weak, started breaking. Went to the new Shark, nice but loud. Worked well, a bit heavy. Saw a commercial for this LG and checked it out. After all their TV and oven we have are exceptional. Turns out the vacuum is pretty nifty too. Yeah, expensive, but the technology and abilities make it worth it. It has two batteries, so use time is extended a long time. It is very lightweight, surprisingly so. The suction is strong, no problem picking up bird seed, popcorn, and other normal carpet detritus. No switch to push between carpet and flooring. The fringe on the carpet has not (yet) gotten caught up, even after pushing it up more than halfway. That actually straightens out the fringe. Easy to lift over because of the lack of weight. So far haven’t needed to use the compact button, would take a lot of vacuuming to fill it up enough. Really nice to just stick it in the stand and have the dirt get automatically sucked out and into a bag. Simple to put together, just put on the non-skid tape, set the unit on the base, plug it in, attach accessories. Just wish there was some storage for the floor mops. Ended up velcroing the bag on the back of the stand. Also need a place to stick extra bags so I don’t forget where they are. Yep, really big complaints there. We believe this was well worth the cost.Little update concerning fringe. Purposely ran over the fringe numerous times from both sides. Was cringing, expecting screaming noise an stoppage from jamming. Nope, cringing unnecessarily, nothing happened. The fringe got sucked in, could see it kind of flapping on top of the brush, but no loud noise and no stopping or even slowing. Gee, impressed even more.

DO NOT BUY THIS VACUUM
DO NOT BUY THIS VACUUM IT IS NOTHING BUY PROBLEMS. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT UNTIL 2 MONTHS IN IT STARTED GIVING US PROBLEMS. ONE AFTER ANOTHER. ALREADY SENT IT BACK ONCE AND WE HAVE ONLY OWNED IT FOR A FEW MONTHS. SINCE THEN LIKE 3 OTHER ISSUES HAVE COME UP. I WILL NEED TO SEND THE WHOLE THING BACK AGAIN. ITS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I HAVE NEVER BOUGHT A LARGE TICKET ITEM THAT I DESPISED SO MUCH. ALSO NEVER PURCHASED LG....NEVER AGAIN.For reference about the issues. First it got stuck in emptying mode on the base and wouldn't release. Then, the release tab on the vacuum itself broke. Sent in to be fixed, now it periodically opens while im vacuuming and dumps dirt all over the place. The emptying feature on the base does not work anymore. So we are manually emptying in the trash. Over the last week it has been giving an error that something is stuck, but it's not. I just used it on high to vacuum 2 windowsills and 1 set of blinds and it died. Not even 5 minutes. Changed out the battery to another fully charged one, same thing. Pathetic. We had a Samsung Cordless stick vacuum before this one that at least lasted a few years.

GARBAGE
WOW!! Either this is the worst & Most expensive vacuum on the market or i have the worst luck! This is the 4th one, first one was great, after a year I gave it to my sister in law, bought another one, after a couple of weeks the auto empty stopped working, a fully charged battery lasted about 10 minutes (maybe) returned it, got another one..same thing, returned it, got another one! Same thing..ect. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!!

Works better than any of my other cordless
The media could not be loaded. I have 3 medium size dogs that have full access to the house so my vacuums must perform perfectly. Along with my corded Kirby, I also have four different cordless stick vacuums, a broken Dyson, a Shark, Tineco, and this LG. This is actually my second identical LG. The first one I bought last November then returned it because I thought I paid too much for it. So I bought the cordless CX Pro magic tower for half the cost. It’s another auto cleaning vacuum. What a mistake. So I ordered this LG again. Everything about it is outstanding. I can feel the top quality as I run it. How it grabs the carpet as I vacuum. The amount of dog hair it picks up is unquestionable the best and the hair is inside the bin and not around the wheels or roller. To rank all the cordless vacuums I use, the best is this LG with no question. Next is the Shark, the rest are close to even. Pro magic, the Dyson then last is the Tineco. The Dyson and Tineco are just not strong enough and need constant cleaning. They don’t have the ump to get the job done There are a lot of die hard fans of Dyson. I use to be one of them. After two Tyson stick vacuums and the corded Dyson ball animal, Ive had so many problems with Dyson and their service, I’m done with them. I like the design of the shark and how it picks up hair but I have to remove the rollers too often. The LG is pretty much maintenance free except for a good cleaning once every week or two. (For me) my wife don’t like to get her hands dirty so she always brings me the vacuums when they need emptying. Not with the LG. The auto emptying in the pro magic did not work half the time. I made three short video of me vacuuming the same floor using all three vacuums one after the other. First is the Tineco, then the Shark and lastly the LG. I couldn’t believe how much more hair and dirt the LG picked up after the other two. Watch and see. I made the videos short so you don’t have to spend to much time watching me clean one room. These are actual videos, I am not being endorsed by LG (although I wish I was.) hint, hint. Well, I am unable to upload more than one video so I’ll just show the last one. The LG with how much stuff it picked up after the other two. The extra battery is a plus. I just change them back and forth even though it has never went low. The built in attachment holder is very nice and hides the attachments so well, I didn’t know it was there for the first two days. It also has WiFi so it can tell you if something is wrong. If you can afford an expensive vacuum, this is for you.
