I wash my hair everyday, this is a ritual that I have done for the past 20 years. I hate the feeling of an oily scalp. I had cataract surgery this week, and I was advised not to get my eye wet for 4 weeks. I instantly ordered this item and used additional microporous tape to ensure that I had an adequate watertight seal. I've washed my hair 3 times so far and I've been able to keep my hair clean and eye away from water. It's a must for cataract surgery patients who wonder how they will wash their hair and keep their eye dry in the shower.

Ideal for shower after cataract op

I purchased these as I've recently had eye surgery and wanted to protect my eye when showering. This product is not suitable for this although it is advertised for this. Most of them popped off on one side or the other, or developed a gap and one even came off completely whilst in the shower. I'm not taking long showers or standing under the spray. Absolutely useless!

I was dubious about the adhesiveness of this product but I didn't need to worry. It attached perfectly and kept the water away from my eyes. I tried it ahead of my surgery just to be certain and I have no concerns about using it post cataract surgery and will be using it at the hairdressers 2 weeks later. I highly recommend this product. So easy to use and well worth the money

These are FANTASTIC! I bought them after a cataract operation to protect my eye in the shower. I cleaned and dried my face then positioned the visor. It stayed on beautifully as I washed and conditioned my hair. The shampoo ran down the visor and only came off when I removed it. Great value and I would order them again when the next cataract needs done. Don’t understand the negative reviews. This product is amazing.

These are a brilliant idea badly executed. I'm waiting for cataract surgery and was worried how I could wash my hair afterwards. I saw these and despite the mixed reviews I got some to try. Luckily I gave them a go to see how affective they are. The adhesive is terrible, really no stick at all, and I had washed and thoroughly dried my forehead before so I don't think skin type could have been the problem. Then I tried using waterproof surgical tape around the top and sides and it worked perfectly, I had a test shower and thoroughly washed my hair and not a drop of water leaked through. So in the end I would recommend them, post cataract surgery, but strongly suggest using tape to ensure they are waterproof.
