Bacon Avocado Tree, Grafted - Very Cold Hardy - Grafted Live Avocado Tree - Bountiful Garden Nursery

I bought 2. These guys came as a 12 inch stick with 4 mature leaves. I bough them in early summer and kept them under a shade cloth over the heat of the Utah summer (grow zone 6.5). The leaves burned in direct intense summer sun, but did fine under a but of shade. I moved them into the grow tent for the winter and so far they're doing great. They'll be potted trees in my case. I have them in 3 gallon pots for now and they've been thriving in decent draining potting soil. I just moved them indoors, so I will have to monitor their moisture and drainage much more, but I think they'll keep thriving. Overall they've been a good purchase. The seller grafted them well and they took about a month to take off, but now they're really happy.

The plants i recieved are very much smaller than pictured. They are grafted onto a small stick coming out of a pit. It's not even summer yet & they are already fainting with a little heat & sunshine. I have to keep them in afternoon shade. I'm unsure of their health condition & possible durability. One is looking a lot better than the other one.

This was so easy. I have them growing in the house under a light, at first when I got them I had them outside but since I brought them inside that have shot up. Worth the money. I enjoy watching them grow.

I ordered bacon and fuerte from this store, they came very small and i had to plant in a container and give nutrients. i showed my husband the plant and he said they should be ok, but for the price it was a rip off my husband has a avacodo plantaion in guatemal where he is right now . i should have waited to order when he got here. i am so disappointed. i hope they servive and thrive the leaves on one are brown and burt an the this ones leaves are just unhealthly looking they are not as bright green as they should. they lack nutrients.
