After just a few hours use there’s already an improvement!
Tried it for the first time last night. I only had it on a few hours as it’s going to take a little while to get used to it. It is very quiet, like white noise in the background. It’s just that having something on you face and air blowing in your nose, it’s a bit strange at the beginning! If you take a look at the image I posted, take a wild guess as to when I was wearing it! I never snored myself awake in that time, or mentally woke up and then had to panic to wake my body up because I’d stopped breathing, and then wait until exhaustion overtook the panic and forced me back to sleep. I only took it off because my cat woke me up and the back of my throat felt dry, so I need to work on getting the humidity setting right.I’ve tried every gadget to stop me snoring or suffocating, I was reluctant to pay out so much for a machine I didn’t know would work, but I’m glad I did. Even with just having those few hours peaceful sleep I feel so much more energised this morning instead of groggy and not wanting to get up! I’ll up the humidity setting tonight and give it another go. It’s such a relief to know that there is something that is actually going to help instead of having to get stuck in a loop with a GP “You need to lose weight”, “But this still happens when I’m a few stone lighter?”, “Then lose more weight.”, “The only way to drop even more weight from what I was would be to stave myself.” (I know because I was trying and heading towards an eating disorder) “Oh well, crack on”. No thanks! I’ll stick with this machine instead!

Really good and what's more as good as silent in so far as the machine is concerned
Bought this when it became apparent that I had sleep aponia. I have had it for three months now and I have to say it is really great. You do have to get used to using these if its your first time as it was with me, but a) you have to keep at it and b) find the best mask for you. Now I rarely have Blood Oxy under 90% and then only for seconds or a few minutes a night at most. When I wake in the morning I no longer feel I have to get the mask off etc.. I'm comfortable with it. That said, I don't like the nasal masks they supplied with it. The the air pressure can cause me to wake up in the night when my tongue relaxes and air gets into my mouth blowing my cheeks, out then my lips give way and the air pressure goes out of my mouth. Of itself no issue but it wakes me up which is a pain. So I bought a Philips DreamWear CPAP mask which is really comfortable and allows me to turn in bed whichever way I like (the hose issue). I am now sleeping a lot better too and for longer.

Noisy
Works well and is easy to operate, but is quite noisy and hard to fall asleep in with.

Still snoring and waking up
Still snoring and waking up with this machine, very disappointed as I was so hopeful that this would change my life. The auto CPAP feature doesn't seem to let you adjust the minimum level, so I can't even help myself.

THE answer for snorers
I've been a chronic snorer for decades. I tried chin straps, a custom-made Mandibular Advancement Device and then about four years ago, I saw an advert for a BMC GII BiPAP machine, so I bought it and as soon as I started using it, the snoring stopped.I have now demoted the BiPAP machine to a spare and I use my new purchase instead.I always use the humidifier and shop around for the best priced distilled water. The only downside with the humidifier is that the seals on the water tank go after a while and replacement tanks are only available after a bit of searching (I have not seen any listed on Amazon so far).All-in-all, I thoroughly recommend this machine if you are a chronic snorer. My machine arrived a week earlier than expected - excellent service from the seller.

Apnea machine
My mum received the machine and she told me that she is feeling better since she use and the moment that received the machine is a money saver. Because in my country to have this type of machine is so expensive that they rent it and every month cost around 70 ponds. She don't need to think about cost and she is enjoying the machine.

Finally a good night sleep
My husband snores really badly but since using this it's stopped. It did take him a a while to get used to sleeping with it on but now he sleeps well. We did however change the nose mask for a full face mask as the air kept blowing out his mouth. Overall it's been a really good purchase.
