DEWALT DWE43066N 6" High Performance Trigger Switch Grinder

Not a pro welder. I use this a bunch when I'm fixing fences or farm equip. It is much nicer to handle than the 20yr old huge makita we have. I only want to use that thing in a vice or straight down. On the dewalt you can lay it on the ground and step on the trigger so you can use two hands to handle the material. No trigger lock. Comes with a bunch of different guards. Honestly it should last for years with what I do. I use this and a Dewalt 4.5" battery powered grinder for most everything.

So it's got the anti stall thing on it.. kinda goofy but once you get used to it it's quite nice.. I run this tool mostly off my welder on my service truck and it's almost like a soft start and I'm hoping over time will prolong the life of the motor. I run 6" zip disks or flap wheels and it handles everything so far wonderful. Typical dewalt tool.. awesome

Love it ! bought this when the battery's started ding off on the 60V Dewalt grinder, couldn't justify buy more battery's when the don't last long enough for the price . Very satisficed power as expected the precision grip is fantastic helps with the arthritic hands

I called Dewalt, and they were super helpful. They listened to what I was going to use the tool for, and suggested this one. They saved me from making a big mistake with a battery model I was going to buy.

The grinder is strong for its weight and size It rattled at first with really anoyd me but it shortly went away

Stopped working the 3rd day I used it . Tried to call and get help but just waisted my time on hold

It's an awesome durable grinder I use it in the field not in the shop and it does awesome in the elements

Although the grinder works as it should, it is NOT DC compatible as one of the comments says it is... Do not purchase this grinder for DC output welding machines.

These are not as good. I've been redseal welder for 16 years... these trigger switch models suck.... no more trigger lock... and any time it's under load due to built in protection. It shuts of to prevent damage. And these do not run of off portable welder.... initial yes.... but once welder revs up... you need to wait for it to return to idle before grinder works again.... tried on multiple welding rigs.... It's this crappy E trigger.
