I always seem to have the best luck with Remington hair tools, and this one did not disappoint either. The barrel glides easily through hair, smoothing as it goes. The spring and handle work as they're supposed to. The cord is long enough. My only suggestion is to have the heat setting stay where it was last set:, rather than always resetting. It would be too hot for me to use it at the heat shown when I turn it on, so I always have to readjust it. That's the only thing I miss about the manual dial on previous models.
