Works great so far! Very happy
We just put it up in our bedroom & so far, we love it. Installation was VERY easy. They even included a pair of gloves to keep prints down to a minimum (which we didn't use). The S-hook was very helpful while connecting the wiring. We love the light dimmer & the ability to change from warm to cold light as needed. I personally hate the "nature" fan setting, but I don't like fans changing speed on me without me telling it to. The fan's high speed was a little noisy at first, but quickly returned to a soft white-noise sound (we assume it just needed to run a little bit). At the lowest fan speed setting, it's nearly impossible to hear, but the breeze can be felt.So far, the biggest downside is that you cannot turn the light/fan on using the "nightlight" button when everything's turned off. Seems like a bit of oversite, but also understandable. Also, we aren't sure if the light is replicable should it burn out. This was purchased while it was on sale for around $85 & it's *definitely* worth that price, thus far. We're going to give it a few more months, but will likely be purchasing another one for another room.

Good fan
I replaced a 20 year old Hunter with this fan. There are a few big benefits: 1) It really is low profile, much better than the old fan. 2) The unit is pretty light weight compared to the old fan. It was easy to hold, and came with an S hook to help with install 3) The fan is quiet and steady. there's no rocking. 4) Compared to the old heavy fans the install was easy. The whole fan/light is put together when it comes out of the box. 3 wire nuts, 2 screws to mount the bracket to the box, and 4 screws to put the fan on the bracket and that was it. 5) it's pretty cool. The fan options are good. The light options are very good. the nightlight option is great. Remote is good. App is good. I'm planning to buy another for a different bedroom. On the other hand, this is not a negative but the fan is pretty small. Good for bedroom. Maybe not the best choice to move air in a big room. I have nothing at all, zero, to say against this fan.

Great modern light with fan
This light replaced a traditional five-bladed ceiling fan with a light kit in my bedroom. I always felt that the fan was too large for the room and hung down too low even though it was a hugger mount. I didn't like laying in bed and looking up at the exposed light bulbs so I went looking for an LED light replacement. This light fan combo makes it feel like the rooms has a higher ceiling and the illumination is great. It provides a nice even spread of light through its ring and you have a lot of options in terms of the warmth of the light and the brightness. The fan provides a reasonable amount of circulation but don't mistake this compact fan for the same kind of room stirring effect you would get from a traditional paddle bladed fan; the manufacturer rates it appropriate for small rooms. It would not be good in something like a living room but would be great in a home office. The LED light took me a little bit to get used to but I adjusted after about a week and I have mounted the remote control right next to the main light switch with a command strip. Here are a few additional things you should know before getting this lightThe light has 10 brightness settings and three major color settings. It also has four important presets: maximum brightness in each of the three colors cool warm and natural daylight, and a dim natural daylight color setting that is the night light. If you have to turn the the light fan off at the main power switch when you turn it back on it will go to one of those four settings and it will cycle through them. So if you turn the light on and it's too cool just turn it off and turn it back on and it will go to the next preset. The first few times I turned it on it happened to go to the night light setting and I thought it was weirdly dim but once I started to play with it I realized what was going on. It's a very lightweight fixture and unlike a traditional ceiling fan you don't have to assemble anything. You just unscrew the bracket that it comes attached to, attach that bracket to your electrical box in the ceiling, and then hang the fan on it and connect the screws. I had such a big amount of ceiling damage underneath the old fan that I bought one of those decorative plates that goes above a fan just to cover it up and I think it looks nice Even with this modern design. It's a nice fan and I'm seriously thinking about replacing another light or two in the house with one like it. As a bonus I really like the sound of the fan. It's very quiet and it almost provides white noise.

Decent, but not perfect
I bought 4 of these fan lights - for use in my Airbnb. The plusses:1) The fan/lights are very affordable2) They are very attractive3) They do everything they say they do (light color, fan speed, light brightness, reverse the fan)4) The fan seems well balanced and does put out a lot of air considering how small it its. I'd say that it's suitable for a normal sized bedroom.5) The amount of light is good6) I appreciate that I can dim it, change light color, and fan speed easily from the remote. The negatives:1) The fan/light does not remember it's last setting. When you turn it on, it defaults to a light color and brightness, with the fan off. So, if you set it how you like it, it'll forget what you liked, and be at the default when you turn it back on with the wall switch. It does seem to remember if you left it on 'nightlight' or regular brightness, so clearly it has some memory, but not enough.2) The fan itself is smoke/clear plastic. It seems to attract dust quickly and look gross. This might be a deal breaker for me, but we will see how it goes. I think a material that does not attract static electricity so quickly would be better3) I'm nervous about the remote control. I imagine that the airbnb guests will steal the remote and I'll have trouble with the whole thing. Only time will tell, but I hope I can buy a spare remote(?)I'd say that I'll probably end up replacing these in the Airbnb with a typical pull chain fan/light. If you are using it at your home, it'll probably be fine as long as you don't lose the remote.
