Ive stuck with Revlon lipstick Now as it's a Good brand and especially the lipsticks, they are moisturising, Look lovely, brilliant colours, enhance my big lips (born with them) IL always stick with Revlon lipstick.... brilliant price to.

Bought this as I was wanting a more orange red than bright red, it has come in more orange though. I can get away with the colour and have been told I suit it very well. Unfortunately the colour doesn't last very long and you do have to reapply during the day. A lovely smart looking lipstick and very much value for money.

This lipstick is lovely, it’s very 1980’s retro red which is fab. Red will never go out of fashion look at Marilyn Monroe for example and the other Hollywood greats ❤️.Anyone who studies colour would understand when I say this red has a ‘blue based red’ meaning it has a more pink hue to it making it a pinky red than the ‘orange based red’.The colour saturation is deep and it’s quite a dark pink/red.Even though it’s a matt lipstick it’s one of the nicer types of matt lipsticks I’ve seen as it catches the light and bounces light off which I think shows its quality. It’s not shiny but it has light reflection within the lipstick itself which is very flattering.The application is easy, but I would really advise wearing a lip pencil when wearing a red lipstick and wearing a primer on your lips as well to extend the colour on your lips. I saw a brilliant video of a makeup artist applying red lipstick on a model and she first applied the lip liner THEN with a brush, pulled some of the lip liner downward towards the lip and then applied the lipstick using a lip brush! Amazing!My biggest problem even in my teens was red lip sticks feathering across my upper lip even though I’d never smoked? It was so frustrating. So I hope but trying that tip by a Revlon make up artist using the lip liner and a brush might reduce this from happening?Even though this is a matt lipstick it has oils in it, it doesn’t feel caky or dry and this is the nicest red matt lipstick that I’ve tried. A massive well one to Revlon for producing a really excellent lipstick. I remember having virtually the same lipstick by YSL which cost a fortune and this lipstick is just as good but without the massive price tag!! I will definitely be buying another in this range!!This has woken me up to the fact that the quality of make-up today is much better than it was in the 1980’s where if you wanted a good lipstick you had to be prepared to pay the big price tags otherwise you would be reapplying your lipstick after every drink, and the cheaper the lipstick the less dense colour and the more translucent it was!Enjoy looking glamorous!
