Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (Further Education and Skills)

Very helpful for use with my Level 3 coursework.

I found this book covered all the essential elements of the PTLLS course so it was really useful from that perspective. However, if you want to get a little more insight into the topics covered, I'd suggest you might need additional material as I did (e.g. Geoff Petty's "Teaching Today"). Also under 'Legislation' this book (p.20)refers to the "Data Protection Act 2003" which does not actually exist in UK Law - the current Act is the 1998 one.

Without this book, I would have been completely lost during my PTLLS course. I found that it was very easy reading and helped to explain things much more than what my tutor did. The book was set up just the same as your assignments and its easy to access just what you need to research. VERY GOOD!!!!!!

A really good book for the basis of PTTLLS/CTTLLS/Award/Certificate. Used it alot in both courses. Simple and well structured
