Robust and good size for young forecaster

This was the wrong product not suitable for Australia, it read inches instead of millilitres. Tried to return it but was too difficult to understand the instructions due to accent so am stuck with it

My child and I wanted to measure the rainfall for an atmospheric river event that we were going to have and this was easy to set and use. It records in inches and the numbers are large making it easy to read. We don’t experience hard freezes, so I can’t comment on if it’s freeze proof or not - but it worked well for our purposes.

A previously ordered this the same item and it was guaranteed not to freeze or burst, and it did. It burst in the snow/ice storm. Other than that, it was fine. I did not see where you could just order the gauge itself. I had to order the whole frame and everything.
