I used this etching cream on slate and glass. Every project has turned out really well with a professional look. It's worth taking the time to apply the vinyl carefully ensuring no gaps or air bubbles. Once done, the cream is so easy to generously dab on with a brush. I left it for around 10 minutes on the slate but only 3 minutes for glass. Remove the excess cream with a brush and return straight back into the tub. Rinse the glass under a running tap before removing the vinyl and then rinse again, taking care not to get it on your skin. Brilliant results for cost effective but personal gifts.

This product worked great on normal glass, it does not work however on glass made to withstand high heat like glass coffee mugs.

This stuff is great for doing glass etching. Made a stencil with cricut then applied a generous layer and left it to sit. Instructions say 5 mins but I left mind for about 30 as I was busy doing something else. Scrape off the excess and pop it back in the container as it can be re-used, give a rinse and remoce the stencil. Very happy with the result

Definitely read safety precautions before using this product!! Works great on glass and slate! Recommend leaving the cream on your item for a minimum of 8-10 minutes before washing off. I find a small dry paintbrush best to move the cream around your desired space for the full time required! That way you gave an even coverage! Wear rubber gloves!!...
