A must for all chain saw owner's

Perfect bit of kit for the woods, the only thing I'm going to change is the fact the turn screw is a bit small for my hands so I'm going to make a bigger one. Takes a beating also, gos in with a tap from the sledge and comes out perfectly fine

Just hammer this into a tree stump or a plank of wood and you've got a solid vice for sharpening your chainsaw. I also put a block of wood under the handle to keep it level.

Have wanted one for a long time, made a horrible job easier, no need to wedge it between my knees. Great price should got one when I was a younger landscape gardener learning about chainsaw operations.

Good bit a kit just in case you need it

The chainsaw clamp itself is great but the packaging behind which it is imprisoned, is a ridiculously tough plastic blister pack, carefully designed to cause injury either to user or product. Trying to liberate the sodding thing is almost impossible. Scissors or an ordinary kitchen knife won't touch it, so in order to avoid an impromptu trip to A&E I had to resort to using a saw from the workshop, which fortunately damaged the paintwork on the clamp rather than me. For the love of god, please STOP using this kind of packaging. It is overkill, and completely unnecessary.

This is a reasonably cheap chainsaw bar vice that works. I drilled a couple of slightly smaller holes that the base of the vice spikes and tapped it in, works like a charm!

Like everything from Oregon, perfect tool, works great. I love Oregon equipment. Always good fit and finish. Metal is very dense and hasn't deformed while driving into stumps. Expect it to provide decades of use. Super happy with purchase.
