All I can say so far (as its not been dry enough to do it) is that it was delivered very quickly and came in excellent condition
I got this for my husband who needed it as a primer for the isoflex to do the summer house roof.....All I can say so far (as its not been dry enough to do it) is that it was delivered very quickly and came in excellent condition...There seems to be a lot of health and safety rules in the instructions for use.

It does what it says on the tin, literally!!!
Exactly as expected and claimed on the tin. Make sure you apply in a well ventilated area and close off any doors and windows into your house as it has a very strong vapour.

Good base to add isoflex
Used the isofex liquid rubber to seal the tender of my miniature steam traction engine. Unfortunately I missed a spot so i needed to add more liquid rubber. For to repair and cover the area I used the primer to prepare the surface and the adjacent rubber for a better bond. Repair went along fine, tank is now sealed. Recommendation from my side

This product is essential for use with Isoflex Liquid Rubber. The two substances combined gave excellent results.

Makes the difference! With an edit..
Took a few hrs to dry but you could definitely feel the stickiness of the product which will make the difference if your felted roof has lost its top coat or dusty/worn like mine was. I tried another Thompsons 10 year roof seal and it just peeled off. Putting this on first, then nuking the roof with the isoflex liquid rubber (yes it's twice the price and expensive) but it would not shift or peel off! Highly recommended on older felted roofs.Edit: OCT 2022The isoflex top coat as all but peeled off which hasnt lasted as long as I'd hoped. It's been steadily coming loose due to some pooling water on the flat garage roof. On the parts that haven't been exposed to this pooling, it's lasted very well. The primer has still stuck well considering but the 2 coats building the isoflex layers up didn't work for me. Still no leaks (which I didn't have before) but I'm more about prevention than anything!
