I have a large breed who is around 42k with very long legs. He has a problem with one of his back legs on and off. He's a very sensitive old boy and very stubborn. I've tried many different methods and none suited him and just made him more nervous. So, I thought I'd give this one a try. I did a little bit of training indoors with all 3 of my dogs, as it does help a lot for the not so confident one to watch and see it's safe. So came his turn and a little encouragement and he walked the length whilst flat, and he managed well and was very pleased with himself. So with this product being so versatile, I set it on the lowest setting and he managed that extremely well. So next step car, and after a little persuasion he got in very well. Such a relief to have found something that's safe that he'll use.Only negative I would say would be there isn't any attachment from the ramp to fix in place to the car. But, this is easily sorted, I'll buy a couple of hooks and a couple of ties. Although this ramp is very steady, if he were to wobble at all I'd be nervous that he'd fall, even though I'm right next to it. Also the carpet covering, not ideal for muddy days and will be difficult to clean off after a while, but again easily sorted if and when necessary.But this ramp is a real find for me and I'm delighted with it, and it well deserves 5 star rating that I've given it.

Unfortunately I had to return mine because there just wasn't enough space in my bedroom to give a direct run to my 70cm high bed. At maximum height my older dog would have had trouble with the steep incline.Worth the money if it fits into your situation of space and intention. Measure carefully, you'll need ramp length plus space for your dog to access the bottom of the ramp. And the steeper you need the more your dog will need a direct approach.

Does the job, versatile , sturdy and safe once set up. however would like to see closure clips on both sides both when open and folded. legs very safe once set up but could do with velcro or hook and eye to stop leg coming out of groove during set up. overall quite happy

I did not like this at all. It’s heavy. Too small and hard to assemble as it kept falling down.

A very well built, easy to store, sturdy ramp. But my old dog hasn't taken to it unfortunately.

This is a well made and really substantial item. We have used it for our post operative staffy with great success. He weighs 27 kg and it is well up to a good weight. Can't recommend highly enough.👌👌

Does the job well and has a good amount of heights to choose from. Easily folds up to store way. Highly recommend.

Bought this product because I have a dog who has a bad hip. The product doesn’t stand firm alone, the locking mechanism is terrible, just falls out and the product collapses. No way was I allowing my dog to walk up this.FYI the advertisement is photoshopped. Even the largest dimensions of this product are not comparable to that breed of dog.
