Tricky install, but great once done correctly
A pullup bar always comes with visions of it crashing down under my weight, even though I'm only 162lbs. We've all seen the videos and you don't want to become another meme for other's amusement. This bar is seriously strong and very stable once properly installed. It takes a bit of playing around to get the length correct first, and then to properly install the supports to ensure it stays in place. It's not too difficult, but it does take a little time and trial and error to ensure best fit before loading it with any weight. Once in place however, this bar is excellent and isn't going anywhere. I've placed it on the outside of a door jamb so as not to interfere with door function, and high enough that I can walk underneath without ducking. This way, I can leave it up permanently without having to fiddle with it upon each use. The extra pads are nice but the hand grips aren't really necessary... at least I've never felt the need to use them. Overall, I've never seen a better braced or solid pullup bar and I'm quite pleased.

Death sentence
It doesn't hold at all. I tried to set it up for hours and it never worked. I followed the directions very well. I got scammed unless I am just dumb.

Doesn't stay put, slides down
I tried it on 3 different door ways and it was always the same - it slid down even with just 120lbs or so on it. I even tried tightening the rod to a point where my door frames were separating (see picture) and it STILL fell down. I even tried this on my doorway to the garage which is all metal frame - the door frame didn't separate but it STILL slid down eventually. I'm not understanding how people are not having this problem. Only way I can see it working is if I were to screw in few wooden screws right under the bar so it doesn't slide down. Overall, I do not recommend this product - I actually think it can be dangerous even.e

Strong, secure, and felt safe
I use this for grooming my dog. I like that there is a second leg to secure it against the doorframe. It is annoying that when adding the second leg to the bar, they are the same. So one is attached on the other side, not a deal breaker but would prefer to have the bolts on one side of the bar.I currently have it in a double door closet and it extends wide enough. There was room to extend it further for use in hallways or wider door frames. It is can be a little annoying to instal as, to extend the legs our door frame was in the way and took a little work to get it long enough. Having the leveler bubble is a very nice addition to ensure it is correctly installed. We have been using the pull-up bar for working out and hanging a dog grooming hammock, both with great success. I was not worried about myself or more importantly, my pet and knew the bar would support our weight.

Self assemble
Was a bit tricky to add the second support system into the main bar but once I did that bat wasn’t going anywhere!

This is a pain to install.
Be prepared to suffer. The instructions don't help. At all. They're confusing and it took me ignoring them altogether to finally be able to set this up. It's a massive struggle setting this sucker up correctly. In order to keep it from sliding, you have to open it up as far as it can possible go against your walls. And it takes some hefty muscle ahaha. And patience. Because if you over do it, it'll topple over. The balancing icon helps somewhat. That's the hard part. Once you've got that on, you can start moving in the legs/reinforcement bars and then you're good to go. For this reason, I docked another star. Once you set it up, trust me, you will NOT want to take it down, because having to go through that entire ordeal again is just not fun. So make sure you set this up where it can stay up. Overall, it has held on so far with daily use. Still going strong.

Easy and worth the price
The directions were a little weird to follow but I managed my way through it, its very self-explanatory and ultimately the set up was a piece of cake. It holds my weight just fine and doesn't budge with a little bit more active routine then just push-ups. I hang my rtx bands off it as well. It will leave impressions in my wood door frame but the connection points aren't beefy and haven't strained it terribly. I love this.

I could not get it up
I sincerely struggled with trying to understand how to put this up. The directions were just not clear enough and even with help. I was not able to assemble it and get it into a door jam to use
