It says 3.3# and 60 quarts, my best translation of all that is that it makes three 5 gallon buckets full of very high quality moss that immediately expands and becomes usable.I put a heavy layer over the drainage stones in my many planters to maintain consistent water availability, and the roots that get down that far grow into it like crazy.

Don't hydrate the whole thing unless you are sure you are going to need a bunch! I used like 1/6 of it and it was plenty for both my terrarium substrate and for my "hydration station" for my pet isopods.

Great moss. Super compact. It came in an envelope. But filled 4 moss poles.

Has too much impurities like grass, weeds and what looks like hay. The moss even smells like hay. Sphagnum moss should have a earthy smell to it.

I do love the moss, The only thing I'm not fond of is the straw/hay that is in the moss, i'm assuming it is from how it is grown, but not awesome to pick out.

Great moss for Venus Fly Traps. Easy to hydrate and use.

I have over 200 plants and love to propagate in moss. I will not order this brand again. Way too many sticks and it smells like hay. Also found a cigarette butt in the middle of the brick when adding water. I don’t smoke so this was pretty gross. 🥴🤢
