Divine Rivals: Rituals and Practices for Living Your Best Life : Ross, Rebecca: desertcart.in: Books Review: Enchanting - This is a masterpiece. This book truly deserves all the hype it's getting. The writing is beautiful, enchanting, magical and poetic. The quotes touched my heart and my soul. A mother who is struggling with her addiction. A daughter who is trying to take care of her mother and herself. A sister who is trying to find her brother. A man who steps out of his father's control, leaves the job he worked hard for, breaks his engagement, and goes to the war zone to be with the woman he loves, a woman who runs a b&b and helps the sliders in every way possible is waiting for someone and another woman who wants to prove her words matter. So many emotions reflect through this story. The way Rebecca ma'am described the war and the consequences of war is incredible and heartbreaking. Sometimes I was getting scared because I was worried that something bad was going to happen. The story also shows the class system of society, where so-called high-class people don't want to accept some people just because they don't belong to their high class. Imagine you are connected with someone through magical typewriters. Imagine you sharing your pain and your grief with someone through letters. Imagine the person you are writing to understands you. Imagine you falling for someone through their words. Magical. Isn't it? If you agree with me, then read this book. This book won't disappoint you. I hope. Review: one word that would describe this book would be: BEAUTIFUL - one word that would describe this book would be: BEAUTIFUL in the sense of writing, in the sense of words, in the sense of iris and Roman cause, they are more than just characters in the book . when i was reading this book i felt like i was in it , living it . and the ending !! my eyes were filled with tears so you better keep tissues with you at the end. 4.5/5 cause the romance between them felt a little bit hurried but nonetheless it felt beautiful and I can't ever deny the fact that i didn't love this book cause i did. the last few pages of them being together, going for little walkes, their arguments, their letters !!❤️

Enchanting Tale
A tale about a girl Iris Winnow who writes letters to her brother Forest, who has volunteered to fight at the war. She pours her heart out about her life, her worries in these letters. Only they are never read, received or replied by her brother. One day she receives a reply. She starts communicating with this stranger. A stranger she suddenly seems to have a mystical connection with. Roman Kitt her rich, handsome and annoying rival at work, never leaves an opportunity to make snide remarks at her. They both compete for the same position of a columnist at the leading newspaper Gazette. Set in a mystical city called Oath, where Gods are at war. I found myself engrossed into this world that somehow runs parallel to our present times. War and its sufferings sends chills down my spine and to be reading it with the present scenario we are facing, it was eerie and heartbreaking. The amount of research the author has put into creating the war scenes are especially inspiring It is a delicate story about themes like love, loss, war, humanity, grief. The letters almost immediately turned into one of my favourite elements in the story. They are honest, intimate and heart wrenchingly poetic delight. The characters Iris, Roman, Marisol and Attie seem easily relatable and exude warmth in their own ways. The love story is definitely accentuated by the letters and develops seamlessly. For all those who enjoy this genre, it is a must read. I can't wait to read the next part of this duology.

Disappointed with cocoblu. Trusted them but send me a pirated copy. Also the packaging for the books need to improve. A lot.

Enchanting 💓
It never fails to amaze me how, a novel penned with endless hope and love in some unknown corner of the world, reaches other strangers, in other nameless places, and proves to be an absolute beacon of light in their lives. This was one such, which reached me in the frostiest of times and kept my heart from turning stone cold. How I love Roman and Iris. 💓 I wish love were as beautiful and feisty in real life as it is in these enchanted pages! 💓

Not a Mesmerizing Read
The story of Roman Kitt and Iris Winnow is all good, except so many things seemed too old for me. Too worn out, and no point of surprise, or a sudden turn in the story was just not there for me. Everything was quite predictable, like things fell into their boxes so easily. There were no place where I could gather my wits together and feel overwhelmed thinking "how did that happen? And whoa!" I have read The Queen's Rising and The Queen's Resistance previously, and they were actually good. But this one is visibly disappointing. I know there are too many flowery reviews out there, saying it's a great and beautiful story that left everyone crying over the protagonists. But I'm too hard to please when it comes to books. I wanted Roman Kitt to perish at one point, and other things that readers do not expect. Because to me, if the characters get to kiss, to marry, to have their first night as well, it's not a good plot. It already has everything, there's nothing to mourn about, no one to pine after. It's a very very bland plot from the writer. I don't know what will happen in the sequel, as Dacre had taken over everything (Kitt and Forest). At this point, I can literally outline the plot of the sequel in my head. & I'm not to be blamed for anything because, I'm not sorry for being a voracious and an old reader.

Story and quality ✨
The book was in a really good quality ✨ The story was so beautiful that it made me cry so much. It ended on a cliffhanger but luckily I had second book ready with me. The letters between the main character contained such a raw emotion that I used to cry after reading every letter. As a person whose love language is to write poems and love letter, this book touched my heart.
