Ademco Honeywell Vista 20p with 6160 Keypad Version: 9.12 Alarm Kit

Great package, included 20P panel, 6160 keypad (needed to program the panel), power transformer, backup battery, interior horn, motion detector, & EOL resistors. Everything worked great. Find some YouTube on programing. Did not like Honeywell com app. Has lots of variables, like the chime function for perimeter zones, with add on board from other manufacturer can monitor/control the system via cell phone, and ability to label each zone.

Professional security system installation/repair for 30 years. Ademco is still the leader in my opinion, for wired systems.

I set up this system with no trouble at all. It works much better than I was expecting it to. You can customize it to your liking.

Great Price for a DIY or just to save money.

I upgraded our older Ademco alarm system to this system because I wanted internet alarm monitoring. It was easy to install and the programming wasn't too difficult. The keypad and motion sensor both work well. I went with the Vista 20p because it would work with the no monthly fee internet monitoring capability from Eyez-on. Eyez-on has a product called the Envisalink 3 that allows no cost internet monitoring of the alarm system and sends out emails and SMS text messages on events. The system has been working great.

Very rude customer service for this product. Provider won’t work with us on replacing a defective board. Would not waste time or money on this product. Tried to work with Amazon A-Z customer guarantee. They contacted provider to contact us about the issue. Weeks later still no phone call.

This is a nice system at a good price. Everything was exactly as described in the ad. Installed and programmed it myself using the provided instructions without any problems.
