Hey, the right choice after hours of research
I do have a security system however I wanted one camera to cover one part of our house that has a blind spot after asking my husband about a year. I decided to do lots of research lots of research and I found this seemed to be the best option and I’m very happy to say I made the right choice. It was easy for me to set up, what price was great and I’m looking to get another one for my mom‘s house. Definitely a good purchase check it out, You won’t regret.

Best Camera for the Money!!! Picture Quality!!! Features!!! SUPER EASY Setup!!!
I have and have installed probably 30 different brands of Cameras and for the money This Camera Is Hands Down THE BEST! This Camera has the Easiest setup of ANY camera i have ever setup! The picture Quality blew me away for a camera at this price point or for a camera 5 -10 times its cost.No lag and even has an audio warning that you can customize. Also will start recording with Motion Or Sound if you select. It has Motion Detection WITH TRACKING that Works! and A lot more features/Control than almost any of the ones i own or have setup for others (I am an IT Professional and have setup Surveillance systems for alot of my customers). Trust me you can't go wrong with this Light bulb Camera!

You will probably regret this purchase like I do.
Final update: out of the 20 or so cameras bought, only 2 of them are currently working. I've had them a year or less. If I could change this to zero stars I would.Update. Change to one star. The cameras that are working no longer stay at the position I put them. I just had my car broken into last night. The camera was positioned to look at my driveway and see my vehicles, but because of the problems with this camera, it reset to a completely different position not looking at my car at all, and missed catching whomever broke into my car. What a useless security camera. I strongly suggest not buying this camera.Update: changed to 2 star. I've had to update this. I have purchased over a dozen of these cameras because the concept and quality looked good to begin with. Not even a year into having them, 3/4 of them don't work right. Most of them are offline and I constantly have to reset them. And of the ones that have stayed online, they never stay in the position I leave them. It constantly resets to some random position which causes The camera not to record where I need it to. Essentially making most of them useless. At first the cameras were great. They were not too hard to set up, and they seem to work well. After a month or two, most of them started having problems. Half of them disconnect and go offline. So I'm constantly having to trim the power off and turn the power back on to reset them. And sometimes that doesn't work. Most of the cameras change the preset view. I have the camera set with 4 default views, and a daemon point for motion tracking. After a few days, these presets change and I constantly have to move the camera and update the preset points. Kind of defeats the purpose of recording a certain area with the camera automatically changes its point of view. I purchased quite a few of these because at first they were working well, but had I known they would start doing this, I would not have purchased them.

Outside Camera
Great value for the camera. Easy setup. I did not purchase the service to keep the video. I purchased a SDCard. You just need the small part of the card and install upside down. The picture quality is good. The notification can be for the smallest movement.

Great idea, works in a limited way.
Simple setup. Should probably mention on the outside of the box that unless you're going to sign up for cloud service at cost, that you need to put in an SD card. So it took me a couple of days to get a hold of a card to put it in. Set up or to fairly well in my outdoor light outside my sliding glass door. The cone holding the light/cam can swivel a little bit, so I put it so that it was pointing right in front of The door in a somewhat downward position. Turns out it wasn't needed as much as I thought to put it there. However, the big caveat is that there is a very limited amount of space that the camera actually swivels in reaction to movement. And basically that's about a four or five foot square in front of the camera. Nothing out on my lawn, nothing on other parts of the patio. It'll either need one more camera to get some of those other locations, or I just put up with a guardian right by the door. Would have been nice to have had it set up last night because I had a raccoon actually open my sliding screen door and come in to eat my cat food! Needless to say he got corralled back outside forthwith! But it would have been fun to have a video of it after the fact. So for as inexpensive and easy to set up, I think it's worth the price. If you're looking for a camera that's going to have a much wider angle picture, like your ring cams, don't bother. And also doesn't pick up the movement while you're watching the cam live on your phone. The movement was picked up very slowly on the picture. The recorded video off the SD card, looked pretty good within the confines of the limited space that it actually follows.I think for someone breaking in through that sliding glass door or screen door, or just wandering through checking it out like the raccoon did later on in the evening after I had closed the glass door, it would be good to see. And especially for the price. And for the producer, if you read this, you need to make it able to detect movement further away from the 4-or-5-ft box underneath it.
