Product was perfect...very light weight...comfy on my feet...very stylish...im planning to buy another one but in different color.

Not the first palladium I've owned, never disappointed with the quality, very comfy.

I suffer from Raynauds and thought I’d have to put them away for the winter and back into Uggs. It does a better job keeping my feet at an even temperature without it sweating. Got the waxed canvas ones as well which is remarkable if you think the upper part is made of cotton canvas. I had to scruff up the treaded sole, which I did on rough pavement, at the start to allow for a better frip. Slipfree, warm and comfortable, it’s now my near everyday shoe.

Great, lightweight boots - perfect if you live in a hot climate. So far these have been a great buy. The fit is perhaps just a little big, they work best with slightly thicker socks. I can't speak to quality just yet as I have only just received them but they appear to be top notch. The canvas is substantial and the soles have good depth of tread. The laces are also good and thick and there is enough lace so you don't struggle to tie a knot.UPDATE: I have had them around 8 months now and they are doing great. I wear them all the time and they are holding up very well. Perfect for daily use and the soles have very good support for your feet. If the wife drags me around the mall my feet are usually dead at the end of it but with these on, I dont have nearly as much fatigue. Keen to get another pair in a different colour for use in the great outdoors. Want to try waterproofing the canvas and see how that works out.

Love these boots..where them everywhere.Rubber sole is a good thickness & canvass makes them light.Like the style of them too👍

I had a pair of the original French desert boots 40 years ago and loved them. Then found an IDF copy that was near identical to those. Loved them as well. And then could never find them again. So was excited to see Palladium picking back up and offering these; especially in all the color options. Perfect for kicking around town or scrubbing around the desert exploring!

I love these shoes! Such a cute color, and unbelievably comfortable right out of the box. Just threw them on, went to the farmer's market, and no break-in required, and you could really feel the subtle cushioning in the bottoms. My one fear was that the sides would be too high. Love that as a French brand, Palladium' has better proportions for petite heights. An old pair I had (low tops) were absolutely indestructible, and these feel equally well made. Great also that they zip, rather than having to lace all the time.

A better looking version of Converse hi-top but with a boot tread.It's like a 3-season sneaker that you can wear in wet weather.It's very different than the Dr. Martens boots but with some of the same cachet.

I wanted something lighter and breathable for spring/summer and had been wanting to try Palladiums for a while so I gave these a shot.I was hoping to find the black ones but nobody seemed to have them in stock in my size. Yes, there are 3 or 4 other versions of this boot that look pretty much identical, but the Pampa Hi Wax in black has a dark tan or earth colored sole which is a nice detail absent in the others, which are just black on black.I ended up going with the next darkest option, French Metal, but be warned that these are MUCH lighter than they appear in any photos I saw online, including the ones here. Not a total dealbreaker, but not exactly what I was looking for.I don't really know if these are actually waxed or not as it doesn't quite feel like it. I've waxed cotton canvas jackets in the past and whatever is on these boots isn't reminiscent of that texture at all. I was considering Rit dyeing them, but won't bother on the off-chance the finish prevents the dye from absorbing and they end up looking like an urban camo holstein. So I'll live with them as-is for now.With that out of the way, these are a pleasure to wear all day. Not much in the way of an insole on these, but I added some inserts and with thinner socks they're great and very sneaker-like. The material is very lightweight and breathable, and I think these should carry me into the warmer months without issue.The boot itself is not going to give you a ton of support, though, so keep that in mind. If you need a sturdy ankle or very thick soles, I think there are better alternatives. These don't have a shank in them either, to give you an idea of the flexibility. I wouldn't wear these hiking. Great for urban use, though.

Schade, normalerweise passt mir Palladium Größe 40, diese fallen aber schmaler aus als zB die Pampa Monochrom. Leider deshalb zurück. Das gewachste Canvas und die Farbe wären zum Festival perfekt gewesen.
