Perfect replacement for toxic tea bags
These tea strainers are exactly what I was looking for: a durable, food grade stainless steel option, with fine enough mesh to accommodate the contents of tea bags, which are now known to contain numerous microplastics that are harmful to our health. Also, the design is ingenious. The lids lock in heat while your tea is steeping, and then can double as a coaster as you are waiting for the tea leaves to cool before composting. I plan to order many more as gifts. Thank you for offering this wonderful, affordable product.

Awesome! Tea Strainers.
I love, these tea strainers. Just what I needed. It comes with two tea strainers with lids, so I am giving one as a gift. I used a regular coffee mug then added to my pitcher with ice. I used loose leaf Hibiscus Tea and added honey while it was doing its thing in hot water, left it for about 20 minutes. Got a full pitcher out of it. Lids fit really nice on the tea strainers. I plan to order several more, it's a good deal for the two tea strainers. Rinsed out really easy and I didn't have any loose tea floating in my mug. That's what I like so yes, I would recommend this product. It's well made, sturdy stainless, fine mesh.

Easier to use and more versatile than a tea ball.
A tea cup infuser is much easier to use than a tea ball for loose tea. These provide a cap/lid to hold in heat while brewing & serve as a saucer for the drained infuser cup. It provides better infusion than a tea ball or tea bag. They also allow for better control over the amount of tea. Some hebal tea mixes recommend amounts that are more than a tea ball can handle. Also, they can hold enough tea to be used with mason jars to brew more than one cup at a time. They are a little harder to clean as the tiney holes make the surface a little rough so that tea material can stick to the sides of the infuser. I bought these to replace a plastic teacup infuser to limit plastics in my life (even though the handles on these are plastic for heat insulation, you can get ones that are completely stainless steel). The only advantage of completely plastice teacup infusers could be that they might be microwave safe but I wouldn't count on it.

Great for loose tea
These would probably work great for loose leaf tea but I bought these because we found out that Tazo tea bags contain microplastics. Since I had already opened my 6/pack of tea boxes, I wanted something to use instead of their tea bags. I cut open their tea bag and put in this tea strainer. The holes are very fine but small particles still get through. I believe natural tea bags would work better in this case.

Works, but lets a lot of tea leaf through
These don’t work as well as I was hoping they would. They almost always leave some tea leaves left in the bottom of the mug. Previously I used an IKEA French press, and it was wonderful. This is more functional with non-glass breakage things, but it doesn’t work nearly as well. Cleaning them is also more difficult than you would think. Tea leaves frequently get stuck and need more spraying or picking out than I’d want.
