My kids love this thing. The base of this chair is rounded and wobbles around. It is supposed to build a child's "core" muscles when they sit giving them better posture, stronger muscles. It is great for the fidgety kid. My daughter's elementary school is using it as a "rewards" chair - so my child loves sitting in it at home.Installation was easy and intuitive. I like this version with the metal adjustable center bar as it can grow with the kids. To operate the center high adjustment switch, while seated, pull up on the thin black metal bar below the seat and adjust using your legs to push up (it will automatically start pushing upwards) or push down (by sitting on it). Release the bar when you have hit the height you want! It's that easy. Only problem, my children like to extend it fully up to the highest point and wiggle on it while balancing on their stomachs! Still gets some core muscle groups though, so I'm not complaining!Not sure about longevity of this product, but it feels hardy! Will update if it ever breaks. I am certain there are "stress points" as all of such items have, just not sure how long until it gives up!Hopefully not until a long, long while! After all, thats the whole point of getting the extendable version right?A couple of serious points though, (does not detract from the item itself) - children WILL use this thing improperly. Because "wobbling" will consist of rocking back and forth, all dangers of those old "rocking chairs" should be observed. You can get a teary eyed surprise if another one of your little ones get their tiny toes stuck under this thing as older sis/bro is rocking back and forth from it (because they want their turn with it).Also, on hardwood type floors, there can be a chance of "slipping" when the chair is extended fully up and your kids are playing with the chair in a way it is not supposed to be played with (balancing with both feet off the ground). It cannot be avoided. The chair is in such a vibrant color it simply attracts children. It has happened already to me, and not simply because of inattentiveness. If there was a small rubber center along with a rubber edge, it would make this item more suitable for hardwood type floors.I purchase these products with my own pennies. Original review below. Editing to add that I contacted Kore and they very quickly sent out a replacement at no charge. So far the replacement is fine but we've only had it for a few days. If this one doesn't break I'll update to five stars later.My son has been using this less than 2 months and as of today it won't stay down any longer, just extends to its full height and can't be adjusted. He is 9 and about 70 lbs and he did not habitually play with the adjustable feature. He did not overtax the stool. I'm pissed I spent the extra money for the adjustable version so that he could grow with it, and it didn't even last long enough for him to have grown at all. Waste of money.

The plastic head cracked after not much use...mostly in storage with COVID. It won’t stay in place now with the crack. Useless for an adult.

This product is as described. The adjustment function is useful and works easily. My daughter uses this for at home school and I think it helps her focus.

Within a week or so, the rubber pad on the bottom fell off, making the stool extremely slippery. Kore sent me a new one. After three months, the actuator stopped working, so I can't adjust the height. I messaged Kore and did not receive a reply.

I recently purchased these wobble stools as one of my classroom flexible seating options. They are awesome! They were so easy to assemble, the height can be adjusted, they are very sturdy, and ,my students love them!!!
