The Penrose Triangle: Penrose Triangle Series, Book 1

Mostly follow Kris for his great car content on various social media but turns out he can really write as well. Kris has really built an interesting and thoughtful world with a compelling cast of characters. Some of the relationships and character development seems a bit rushed but it doesn't take away from the overall enjoyment and I hope that book 2 will give the chance to explore the characters a bit more deeply.

The writing style is engaging with crisp dialogue (for mature audiences) and vivid descriptions.A second book promised by the author is needed to answer many questions and hopefully, include a map to help the reader follow along on Penny's journey.The Penrose Triangle is the first book in a series that looks promising. If you are a fan of dystopian fiction, you will love this book. It is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a gripping story with a strong heroine and a compelling plot. I discovered Kris through Overcrest Productions, and based on the content there, from the podcast, to the films, to hearing and reading some of journalism, I knew this was going to be good. And boy, was I right. The detail, the character development, the plot - all combined to create a page burner from beginning to end. Cannot WAIT for the next book(s)!

From start to finish, this book kept me on the edge of my seat, eager to know what would happen next. Kris Clewell's writing is captivating, drawing you into the vividly detailed world he has created. Can’t wait for book two!

Truly an awesome effort by Kris - waiting on the second but couldn’t put this one down. He weaves an amazing tale that causes you to turn page after page. Who knew that someone who spends as much time wrenching on his cars could create a masterpiece of fiction.

An amazing first book by a new and upcoming author! The author remains one step ahead as you plow through his first offering! Rich with environmental descriptors, You can feel his characters world takes shape and soon are emersed fully. You will be left wanting more immediately! Great! Would recommend!

From elaborate character building to deeply detailed scenarios & scenery lay outs, Kris has built an entire world for reader’s imaginations to thrive in, from start to finish. This book will having you begging for a sequel to drop before you even finish this book.10/10 isn’t a good enough score to even credit this novel with; buying this book in ANY form it’s offered is a must.

Kris builds this world and it sucks you in. The character development, the detail, the depth and yes the violence. He doesn’t hold back and you feel like you’re right there in Mercury. Pick it up but be warned, you might not be able to put it down.

I follow the author on social media and when he came out with a book project I was extremely curious; this dystopian novel is really good and catching, solid 5 stars from me!
