Illume Beautifully Done Essentials BlackBerry Absinthe Boxed Glass Scented Soy Candle

Let's face it, these candles are expensive. But I fell in love the scent, and had to have it. I'm thrilled to be able to get a refill for much less than the original jar candle. It came out of the paper cup easily and fit my jar perfectly. I wish more companies sold candle refills!The Hinoki Sage scent reminds me of hiking in the woods on a crisp morning, but also a slightly-masculine, sexy scent to me. I've burned through a couple of these candles already, and will continue to buy refills.

This candle smells excellent, just like the Blackberry Absinthe scent purchased from Illume. However, the candle came in with white wax instead of black (like the picture implies). I purchased this candle specifically for the black wax look, so I was disappointed when the wax came in as white.

Love that it is refillable; I'm on my second refill now. Easy to refill and love the smell!

$21 candle and the wick is off-centered, so it doesn’t burn evenly. I wanted to be able to refill it, but it will be too much work scraping all the wax off the sides.

Smells great. However the wick gives off black smoke and turns the glass black. Does not burn cleanly. Such a shame because the scents are so nice. Would not buy again.
