Makita196664-7 Makita Bevel Guide Set Sp6000 - Multi-Colour

I use an 18v cordless Makita saw, Guide track and saw adaptor, which works well. I was hoping that this guide would set the guide at 90 degrees to the location edge. It does do this but gets in the way of the saw. It probably only works with the plunge saw.

It's not accurate it does fit right on rail. Very disappointed with this product.

This is a well made product, feels robust. Two complaints: 1) the one I received was about .5 mm out of square in a 30 cm length, I had to unscrew the bar that attaches to the saw guide and calibrate it from scratch. 2) there are no positive stops on any angle, not even 90 degrees, so you need some reference equipment to set it. If you plan on cutting many different angles this item can be useful, if you only plan on cutting square, you are probably better off with a dedicated square guide.

Box came very damaged, but doesn't seem to be any damage to the Mitre gauge. Works great
