Worst joystick caps design ever. Decent Joy-con grips.
Sorry PDP I have to change my review on these solely on the joystick caps alone. They seemed to work great at first. And they do! Sort of. They are a hard plastic, and they surely protect against wear on the joystick. But the holes on them are the worst design choice ever. They have sharp edges which slowly scrape off dead skin cells from your thumbs and cause a build up of skin cells, dust and dirt underneath the caps over time. Which caused me to have to take them off and clean them every so often. It was so bad that I just had to get different ones. (Pictured is me holding the PDP one compared to some new solid ones I just bought.)The joy con grips/protectors on the other hand are still decent. They add extra bulk to the controllers to allow for a better hold on them. I do see that people complain about them falling off, and that's sort of true. But only if you're holding the switch in handheld mode with one hand. It kinda puts pressure on it from your hand and will pop off sometimes. But if you make sure to keep hold of your device it's not an issue. I still recommend the joy con grips. Just not the joystick caps. Those suck. I'd give a one star to the joystick caps and a 4.5 star to the joy con grips.

Best Joycon ThumbGrips Money Can Buy
Ok, forget the sleeve. I don't like em, I think the Joycon are perfect without any sleeves or add-ons whatsoever. But these thumbgrips... wow. Every other thumbgrip for Switch, including the ones included with PDP's other silicone sleeves, are slippery silicone. I keep hearing people rave about silicone and complaining when something is not silicone but let me tell you silicone sucks. Your thumb just slides right off of it. These are plastic, and the only thumb grips I have found on the entire internet that are not slippery silicone. They are amazing and they work perfect. I bought five packs of these things just for the thumb grips. You get a black set and a colored set. I wish I could buy them separately but I can't. But they are so good that in my opinion it's worth it just for the thumbgrips alone. Not only does it add just enough height to make it feel proper, and just enough extra travel as a result, it also protects those $80 Joycon from wear. It's an absolute essential in my opinion and I can't recommend it highly enough. As for the sleeves? Well, they're ok, if you're into that type of stuff. At least they don't cover the buttons like the other ones do to the point everything is flush with the sleeve. Points for that.

Still needs some work, but it’s not bad
I was looking for a hard case for my Joy-Cons because and I figured that silicone wouldn’t be good since it stretches out over time. A bit of research led me to these since these looked like the only decent pair. I really like the look and the design gives my hands more to grab on making gaming sessions (single or multiplayer) a bit more comfortable. My only gripe with these is that the right one comes off a little too easily. I’m not rough with my Switch, but I still had more than a few occasions of it accidentally coming off, which can get a bit annoying. The right Joy-Con, in particular, has a sensor on the bottom and the Armor Guard for that one has a cut out for it. It’s probably for reducing signal interference, which definitely makes sense, but hopefully, improvements can be made so the cover doesn’t come off as easily. Aside from that, they work great and with them on, I feel a lot more confident with the longevity of my Joy-Cons and Switch.

2nd set turned out to be better...
First set i got the black grips were loose, the blue were slightly loose, i requested a replacement and got a new set and the black grips are nice and firm on joys, haven't tried blue again as i prefer black. Will they get loose over time you ask? Probably if you keep taking them on and off. I have a set of gels also but prefer these as they feel better in handheld mode vs gel grips. $15 bucks is not bad for 2 pairs. If you received a pair straight out of the package that were loose, try getting another set and maybe you'll get a better batch, some were made from a good mold and some not so great.

I like these grips a lot
I like these grips a lot. I started out with some silicone grips and they slipped off too easily. I changed over to these and I am much happier. I don't know how some people are complaining of scratches on the top of their controller... as these fit only on the bottom. I have these for my controllers (making them fit my larger hands much better), the hybrid cover for my console, and the deluxe travel case from RDS (the cordura version), and everything fits very well! I couldn't be happier with my set up at the moment.

Fantastic product, no complaints.
These hold on to the joy cons very securely, and they add a good surface for grip. I purchased all the available colors so myself and my partner could enjoy color-swapping not just controller colors, but trim colors as well. In time I have found that I really like the cases produced by Mumba, they just fit my hands better. But my girlfriend LOVES these grips. She uses them, literally, all the time. They do not fall off the joy cons, they aren't loose in any way, and the colors are very fun.

my favorite for the joycons individually but the ChinfaiIs the best but it protects the whole system which mean u have to take the whole thing off the use the joycon separate. I have these grips 4 stars cause they don't stay firm the the switch. The wiggle just a little like most of the plastic ones which can be annoy ... unlike the other one I recommend at the top

Not the best, but gets the job done.
Pros: The material its made of feels real strong amd sturdy. The thumbstick grip covers are made with a harder plastic (not the soft gel ones.)Cons: Although it fits the JoyCon snuggly, when playing it does not feel like it securly sits. It feels almost as if the JoyCon will pop out. It hasn't yet, but you get the sensation it does. Also, the blue is not color matched with the actual blue JoyCons. That was a major bummer. The off set blue on blue ends up looky tacky.

Buen producto aunque...

They feel nice and look nice
They feel nice and look nice, but are really flimsy at the back. It's still really easy to pull them off accidently, so make sure you're gentle with them and treat the system as if they aren't there. But they do make holding onto the joycons more comfortable.
