I've been thinking about getting this braid for a while now because of the price, but the right chance hasn't come up. However, after I created a new setup for surf fishing, I figured I had spent enough money already and wanted to get some cheap braid, so I finally bought this stuff. I got 500 yards of 50lb braid for only 20$, which is an amazing deal. And it's a good braid too it's really strong, smooth, and light, everything you want in a braid. Filled my 11000 size spool and tried this line in the surf, and it works great, this stuff holds well, so it was really easy to tie my Alberto knot. I also really enjoy this "blue camo" color because it reminds me of ocean colors, which is why I picked it for my surf reel, with the bonus that it's easy to see for me and the people walking on the beach. It casts very smoothly and very far with ease. There were a couple of times I messed up my surf cast with a very heavy load on (which can definitely break your line, knot, etc), but it didn't even break. I was amazed thinking I lost my rig, but it was still there. Never even got a wind not in 15 mph winds either.

Been out with the line on 5 times. Holds up well so far, pulled in a couple fish no problems. Only issue I have is with the color. I got the blue camp to help me see the line, thought it would stand out, however within the first hour or so I noticed the blue/white/black line had turned into basically a solid teal color. Better than the Suffix Sunrise I got last time that turned white. For the money though I can't complain at all. It is very tough line for sure

it is braid and the price is fair. The drape of the line is not as good as a more expensive braid like a spiderwire and it does not hold knots particularly well. I realize that braid is notorious for trouble with some knots but this holds less than good braided line. This is strong stuff though, and would be good for catfishing, snagging etc. I ended up using it as backing and just tying on leaders as this stuff stuck out like a sore thumb in clear water but is nice and strong. If you are hoping for direct to the hook/lure braid you may want to look elsewhere as this just doesnt seem to let the lure act as naturally.
