Large Dog Blanket, Super Soft Fluffy Sherpa Fleece Dog Couch Blankets and Throws for Large Medium Small Dogs Puppy Doggy Pet Cats, 50x60 inches

I am fostering 11 puppies and their mother for 8 weeks. I bought this because it looked soft and comfortable for bedding and being fleece, it should dry quickly which is a big plus since bedding needs to be washed daily. After the first wash it already looks awful. The While fluff on one side is all over the black other side. The two sides are not well sewn together either. Yes, it is cozy but it's terrible for puppies. Wish I hadn't spent the money.

I got this blanket to put on my German shepherd's elevated cot during the winter months. Jake normally chews up everything, so I was expecting to see a partially shredded blanket within hours of putting it on his cot. Jake also likes to drag towels and blankets around the house, so I also expected that I'd have to continually move the blanket back to the dog bed. However, I've been pleasantly surprised to see that Jake is actually using the blanket for its correct purpose. After I neatly placed the blanket on Jake's cot, he fluffed it up to his satisfaction, and it has remained there for his naps. It's a very cozy blanket, so even my power chewer appreciates it and has yet to destroy his comfy new blanket.

I have waited to do the review of this product because I wanted to see what kind of lasting power it has. My chocolate lab puppy has gone through several blankets purchased from local pet stores in 9 months because she chews them when I am not around and they end up in shreds. This blanket, however, is different!! She has chewed it at the edges, but because of the way it is made, I have been able to mend those places with needle and thread. The blanket holds up extremely well in the washer - I even washed it before I repaired a couple places, and it did not fall apart in the washer! The tears were still the same size after washing. There is some kind of very strong net-like backing on the inside of the fury side. The blanket is snugly on both the velour side and the fury side - my puppy loves it and so do I. I place the blanket over her bed at night and it is large enough that if she gets cold she pulls it over herself. Her hairs don't stick to it and easily shake or vacuum off. I love it! I'm buying a second one to have for cuddling her on the sofa. Thank you for such a great product!

Product says it is machine washable on Amazon description. On product tag itself it describes as “hand wash only”. This was discovered after putting blanket into a washing machine and finding it soaks up so much water that it becomes a 25lb waterlogged mess which unbalances the machine due to its weight. Also, impossible to wring dry. Days to hang dry. Extremely soft and comfortable, but utterly impractical to have a dog blanket that cannot be properly washed. Had to toss it, and am regretting purchase.

I love the size of the blanket and it's nice and soft, but I use it as a cover on the couch to protect it the couch and it shifts like crazy. I have another brand that also has a sherpa lining and it stays put much better than this one. Also, I really wanted a dark gray color but had to settle for black. If you just want a warm soft blanket this would be a good choice, but if you want it as a dog blanket then it's going to slide all over the place.

I ordered the large size for my lab. I had just ordered a new dog bed from another company and while I do like the bed it had a harder cloth denim covering. I purchased the fleece blanket to put over the bed to make it softer. It is large enough to tuck under the bed so it stays smooth. My dog just loves the blanket. The fleece is what she was used to in the old bed which wore out. I recently stayed in a hotel and did not bring her bed - just the fleece blanket. It was very portable. I put the blanket on the floor and when I told her to go to bed she went right to the blanket. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it.

My dog has the best blanket in the house. A friend of mine was using it on the couch when I told them that was a dog blanket and offered a different human blanket not covered in dog hair they said no. This friend isn’t a huge dog person but thought the blanket was so soft and cozy that being covered in dog hair was worth it.I have washed and tumble dried this maybe 30-40 times and it’s still as soft as when we got it. It’s pretty durable as it has survived countless games of tug of war and being chewed, bitten, dragged around every day. Highly recommend for dogs and humans lol

My 6 month old Pitbull destroys everything! Anything I give her immediately goes in her mouth and gets chewed up whether it’s edible or not but she immediately snuggled up under this blanket and went to sleep!
