Works very well
They work very well.

Works well. Better than the standard tips or tennis balls
These seem to be great for both indoor and outdoor use. They seem to glide better on carpet and linoleum and do not wear through like tennis balls do on sidewalks or pavement.

Works but.. Be ready to change fast
You get 6 skies.. Not 6 pairs, but just 6, which means you get 3 actual pairs.. Since these are usually sold in sets, not individually, I found that it says "6 pack" kind of deceiving, because if you think in terms of how these are usually sold, some people may think that they get 6 pairs, or sets.. and you only get 3 pairs or sets.. While this is not technically wrong, it should be clarified in at least the description..By the pictures, I thought that these were a single molded design.. But when I got them in, I found that they were 2 pieces, held together by screws.. Why this is a problem.. Well, the screw on the bottom piece takes up about half of the tread.. So once you wear these down to 50%, they will have to be changed. If you do not, then the screw can and will stick out, and if you are on surfaces like wood, linoleum, etc.. The metal screws can scratch up your flooring and do damage.. Solid forms you can wear them down 75+% of the tread before you have to change them.. Not these.. 50% max..As you can see by some other skies, the tread on them is about the same thickness.. It is so close that you can not tell any difference in ski thickness between the 2 just by looking at them.. Since these are both, more expensive per pair, and you have to change them twice as often vs solid ones, that makes these much more expensive to use..I do like that they rubber on the top, and slide on the outside.. Because of this, these are much easier to put on, and take off.. The last pair that I put on, like the one shown in the picture (I bought enough for 3 changes of those which is why I have spares), those I had a hard time putting on because they fit so tight that I needed a decent size hammer to put them on.. These are much easier to put on then those.. That is a major bonus to this design..Also, if you do not wear your skies down a lot, say maybe because you stay in a house most of the time, or are in stores, with smooth or carpeted floors, then paying the extra for this type for the convenience of being easier to change might be worth it..The reason I gave them 2 stars.. First, they should have been straight forward that there are screws holding them together, and that takes up a significant amount (half) of the skis wear part.. This info was no where in the listing, nor in any pictures.. I can only guess that there were no pictures of this on purpose..Price is high considering the limited amount of wear that you can get on the bottoms because of the screws in them.. and them needing better descriptions to let people know that these are only 3 pairs.. I personally think that they should just say 3 pairs from the start.. I looked up these, and most (not all, just most) of the skis that I found being sold, mostly all said pairs.. 1 pair.. 3 pairs.. etc.. So I can not even justify it that this is common practice for these, because from what I see, it is not..Do I recommend them.. If you are fine with knowing what you get, and the cost with it, then yes.. Go for it.. But here, the walker is used a lot on concrete, which wears down the skis fast, which is going to make a significant difference vs someone that is indoors all the time.. and that is why I have the problem with only being able to use half of the tread on them, and not being told that screws take up the other half..
