Faber-Castell Art & Graphic Water Brush - Medium #185105

Easy to fill up, great brush, no leakages so far.

I’m well-aware that this isn’t its intended purpose, but this item is fantastic for applying nail and cuticle oil. I recently purchased a cuticle oil that came inside a tube with an attached brush and thought it was a very practical way to use it — portable, and less likely to spill. But it’s quite expensive for the tiny amount (1.8ml) of oil and it wasn’t reusable so it creates a lot of plastic waste. After looking at loads of water-brushes, I settled on this one due to the shape of the handle and the shorter, more squat style. With this, I can buy a normal cuticle oil or even just a plain oil like an almond carrier oil and tip it into the reservoir and keep refilling and reusing the brush. I wanted a water brush with a decent cap (and not all water brushes seem to have them) to prevent the oil transferring from the brush so that I could put it in my bag and take it with me, and the cap on this one clicks into place securely, so I’m not worried about it falling off. The oil I use isn’t really thick, but it’s obviously thicker than the water the brush is intended for. It didn’t have issues with it getting through the filter mechanism. It took a little squeeze and then it was fine and flowed smoothly. I’ll probably buy a second one so I can easily have one to hand.

Good brush, great for traveling and doing work, but feels a bit strange to use. I must get used to it though. Though if you hold it too tight you end up squeezing the water out too fast.

As is usual from Faber-Castell the quality of their waterbrush is a step up from the other brands. It’s a nice compact size, feels better made than my other brushes and the flow of water is just right, no leaks. I just wish there was more sizes! Recommended.

Love this. So far hasn't leaked. Superb also to take along with the aquarelle pencils. This was reviewed in Ireland and NOT in the UK

Good all rounder for moistening watercolour palette and only used water in it, not tried ink but should be ok

I bought to go with my Faber Castell watercolor pencils. I have a lot of these water tank pens. This is the best one. It has nice water release to control the amount of water hitting the paper. Super fine tip that is great for coloring books.

Très bon pinceau au débit d'eau régulier. C'est super que Faber Castell propose enfin une version avec une touffe plus épaisse, j'avais déjà celui avec la touffe fine, que j'aime beaucoup. La touffe épaisse reste un peu moins mouillée que la fine et permet de poser des couleurs plus saturées. Elle garde une pointe précise. Les deux tailles de pinceau se complètent bien.

Funkar väldigt bra och är så smidig att använda. Även när man är hemma och inte vill byta vatten hela tiden för att det blir smutsigt. Vattnet i penseln är rent hela tiden. När man byter färg är det bara att torka av penseln med papper och fortsätta.

Me costó más cara que la misma brocha pequeña pero son mis favoritas, me parecen más cómodas que otras, ocupan muy poco y el pincel va bien, de calidad.
