Fit my rifle and scope like a dream and doesn't shift at all.

Monstrum Hydra Modular Cantilever Scope Mount | 30 mm or 1 inch DiameterKit Arrived with a lot of parts. It is a "modular" mount. so you can assemble the modules. It is kind of fun to decide how you want to configure things.Included were enough small TORX screws to attach the various parts, plus one extra. The rings were assembled with their respective eight longer TORX screws. And the rings included the 1" scope adapters, which fit very well, and had small alignment flanges to snap right into place in the 30mm rings.The cantilevered base is very solid and robust. All surfaces are precisely machined and finished. All the necessary holes drilled and tapped for installing the various modular parts.Some problems I encountered: I had intended to install a 1" diameter Monstrum scope in this mount. It would not fit. I realized I did not check the mount dimensions, and my scope bells flared in the area of this mount's rings. I checked the product listing, and that size / dimension info is NOT listed, It would have been very helpful to have that info. Yeah, I'm lookin' at you Monstrum..Just so you know: the available space between the rings measures 2.35".The overall width of the rings is 4.28". Each ring is approx. .96" wide. These measurements are without the 1" adapter sleeves in place.So, I did have a different new 30mm tube scope I mounted instead. (photos show an Amazon review approved toy gun for illustrative purposes) Mount and scope were installed on a .30 caliber rifle upper picatinny rail. Mounted very solidly. Base uses three bolts and a full length locking rail.Another problem: I have several other Monstrum scopes and mounts. They have (almost) always included the necessary "L" shaped Hex key or TORX wrench with the item. This mount did not come with a TORX wrench. So, you will need to provide your own. FYI: it is TORX size T-15.So, I had my own 1/4" hex TORX driver bit, which worked for everything else but it would not fit into the deep drilled holes of the offset picatinny rail modular section. That little "L" shaped TORX wrench (not included) would have handled that job perfectly..These are minor complaints. Overall, I am very impressed with this mount.And, the little flip-up bubble level is neat! Works great, looks cool.
