I bought this as a bike, lock for when I need to run into a store or something like that. I don’t know if I’d leave it locked up anywhere for an extended period of time with this as it’s only defense. Otherwise it seems to work well I like that you can set your own combination and change it if you want to. Some of the other reviews showed that people failed, trying to break through the lock using different methods. That kinda hated me and going with this one. Appears to be fairly durable and semi weatherproof. I’ll keep the review updated if anything significant develops overtime. It’s still fairly new. But as of now I’m pleased.

Cool colors that my 7-year old likes. He can handle the dials well, it's easy enough for him to use. The length is a good balance of long enough to reach a post while not being so long it's too heavy. The nylon sleeve over the chain helps keep it from scratching the bike. Good product.

Very strong and good quality bike lock. Has the standard chain with a thick fabric mesh over top so it can’t be broken by bolt cutters alone, easy to use combination lock.

Works good i use it on my bike with a cover and holds the cover in place and I feel the comfort knowing my motorcycle will be there when I get back really good thik chain and I leave my motorcycle outside

I’ve used this Sportneer bike lock for about two years. The lock mechanism and chain still work perfectly and feel solid and secure. However, the scratch resistant fabric cover completely disintegrated with regular outdoor use. As shown in the photo, the cover shredded and fell off in pieces, leaving the bare chain exposed. This defeats the purpose of protecting the bike frame from scratches. If Sportneer offered a replacement cover, this would easily be a 5-star product. Great lock, just disappointing durability on the cover.

Cons: Plastic enclosure feels of slightly lesser quality (though it doesn't seem to affect performance) Size:I bought the 4 ft version, and I think it’s ideal for my needs, but it’s not long enough if I want to lock the frame, wheel, and a pole or post, for example.
