Honestly, I have had this in my shopping list for far too long. I should have bought it so much sooner. THIS IS TRUTH: I used to shoot on an old Pentax K-1000 35mm, the one my dad gave me when I was maybe 13. I took THOUSANDS of photos through that camera and discovered a skill/talent/love/whatever for photography through those lenses. In the digital age, I'm sorry to say, that poor little camera hasn't been used in 15+ years. Now, I am no pro, but I have been featured in competitions with some of my work going to auction...but again, I'm no pro and those lenses haven't been used in a very long time. Fast forward to me finally pulling the trigger on buying this after 2 years of "should I?", I kid you not...once I saw my old Pentax lenses on my new Canon, I had tears running down my face. For the first time in over a decade, I am able to revisit the love of photography that I had as a teenager 20+ years ago. This little adapter is worth every single penny plus more. If you want to adapt lenses to a body you own, do it without hesitation. I swear, you won't regret it. I should have purchased it the day I saw the listing, that's my only regret.

I'm using this product to adapt my old SMC PENTAX-M 1:2 50mm lens on my Canon M50 body. While it does and fits very snag, it fails to perform infinity focus, that is the reason for 4 star rating. Very solid construction and a nice budget adapter if you don't care for the issue mentioned above. I will try out much more expensive "Made in Japan" adapter by Kindai(Rayqual) and review the difference.

The only downside about this style is that is doesn't have the electrical connections (which they explain up front). So your auto-focus won't work. But if you don't mind manual focus, aperture, etc., then it's perfect.

I bought both a Nikon-EFM and a PentaxK-EFM adapter. Neither of them held onto the lens very well and I had to return them both. On the Nikon-EFM adapter would not lock onto any of my Nikon lenses. The Pentax K mount adapter did fit my Pentax lens, but it wouldn't lock onto it. A couple of times, the lens simply fell off as I was walking around the house taking random pictures to test the adapter out. Fortunately, I caught the lens both times but no way I would trust the adapter enough to use it in real life.
