I like the thinness of the skin and how there are cysts to practice on but I find that it is not realistic enough. 1. the cysts are too hard so squeezing it out rips through your incision making it huge.2. The skin is not elastic enough so tying sutures rips through skin.Nevertheless, it is good to get practice in!

This is a reasonably priced artificial skin and abscess pad for incision and drainage. The obvious con is that you can only use the pad for cutting the cyst once, but you can practice suturing and palpation and aspiration multiple times, though I expect it could probably get pretty tattered quickly with frequent use, which I think is this products major limitation, but one inherent to the product type. I think this is best served for an individual to practice their skills. This has a good heft to it, so it does not move around much as you manipulate it. I think this is a good product and would probably purchase it again.
