Great for first time dice makers!
This was my first time ever making resin dice and they honestly came out great! The resin liquids were high quality and the cast came out crystal clear without the use of any other tools. I did have minimal bubbles in my finished product but that is to be expected when not using additional tools like pressure pots or heat guns. The cups are sturdy and easily cleaned with a baby wipe. The measurements are also easy to see for the very important need of equal parts. I chose not to use the wooden sticks as wood has been known to add more air bubbles (per some dice making Reddit threads) but they are good quality and sturdy for those that do want to use them. The gloves were also great, no tearing or sticking that cheaper gloves may see.The kit came with instructions, which were very easy to follow and super helpful for a first time user like myself. I found that 20ml of each gave me a full 7pc set of dice of standard size with some left over. The entirety of this kit allowed me to make 10 full sets. I probably could have gotten at least one more set if not for a little trial and error on figuring out the right amounts. I could probably also reduce the 20ml to 15ml to squeeze even more out of the bottle.I would definitely recommend this kit to beginners. I originally ordered these smaller bottles to test the product before committing to larger amounts. I just reordered this same brand in the larger sizes.

Good resin for pours
This resin has a higher viscosity meaning its thinner and heavy items will sink (this includes glitter, even fine glitter like in the photo). Good for molds but would not recommend for other items like tumblers that is because it’s thinner and will cause fish eyes. Top coat had no fish eyes and gives that glossy, glass like finish. The only negative for me is the odor, especially while curing.Takes about 24 hours to cure, long time work with, colors blended well. Easy to use like most resins, crystal clear, and I would use again.

If Easter was a Resin...
If Easter was a resin and we had more than one of them, we would have Polyester [drums: ba dum dum, crash]Now that I have your attention:This product is very high quailty: from the packaging, to the resin, to the instructions. It came with stirring sticks, rubber gloves, and two sets of measuring cups, you should label them A and B appropriately. I mixed small batches 1:1 by weight (the instructions say 1:1 by volume), but by weight (which is easier if you have an an accurate electronic scale that can read down to 10ths of a gram) worked very well. I used this to make a back shell for an electronic connector that I modified. I added 2% by weight of Testors Flat Black Enamal Paint (from any Hobby Store); just a dozen drops is all it took to make it totally opaque to hide the wires. We call this 'potting' in electronics. The project came out perfectly. I used the 1/4 inch layer every 4 hours method as my back shell was 3/4 high X 1 inch wide X 1 inch long. The instructions say not to add more than 5% non-aqueous (no water) pigment, I used only 2% of oil based enamel and got great results.5 stars all around.16 Oz kit:Update: Above review was from June 2023.I just ordered again in January 2024.Note: The 4 Measuring Cups, 2 Nitrile Gloves, and 4 Stirring Sticks are no longer provided in this kit.Still, great price, great quality. Also, I now pour my 3/4 high X 1 x 1 inch mold in one pour (not 3) and I get the same results.

Overall I’m impressed
This is my first purchase of resin and the project it was intended for so I was kinda scared because it’s a sentimental piece. All the online vids and tutorials make it look so easy to create masterpieces. 😂 my project wasn’t anywhere near a deep pour. Just filled natural splits and cracks in a fairly thick block of wood that will be a bench seat. I did paint a thin coat of acrylic paint inside the cracks for some color and depth, gave it more than enough time to properly dry, then gave it a thin coat of resin, letting it harden, then poured the remaining over 2 different sessions. As cautiously as possible only to come back a few days later to check on it and discovered multiple cracks in the cured resin. I was heartbroken but I decided to grind out the cracks and pour fresh over the booboos. It turned out beautifully. This problem may very well have been something I did or it may be this brand of resin. Idk. I am ordering it again for the other parts of the bench because I loved the kit and it’s contents. The cups, stir sticks, etc were all extremely convenient. The gloves were useless to someone with tiny hands tho. Manufacturer should really consider offering different sizes because most peoples hands aren’t anywhere near that big.

Both A&B completely thinned out(water like consistency)after one use
I used the epoxy for the first time and it was good and everything, after i had fully sealed it and put both back in the box and stored it in proper temp room. After i got to it for the second use the whole thing was complelty thinned out the consistency of both was like water almost and it was basically ruined. I even tried using it but it was too weak, and one time as I was using it. I noticed it started to smoke in the cup, then i started to stirring and it was so hot i couldn’t hold it. Somehow it started fully cooking itself in the cup. Idk i’ve bout many many brands of epoxy and this is by far the worst. Especially as I use this on my work that I sell it messed up a lot of work.
