This is a great hydroponic system. There are 12 pods available, which means you can grow a lot of things. Although for spacing, you are not supposed to use all 12 spots at once. I used it for spices and trimmed them every few days. I like the app that tells you exactly what to do and how to grow a successful garden.

It's confusing to navigate initial setup. I feel the systems downfall is most likely the directions & confusing layout more than operation. I had to Google a lot of what was crucial to setup. We'll see. It's up & running. Update: 1 tomato plant shows signs of life. Getting the lighting on a reasonable schedule is a pain. Instructions don't tell you to start in the morning for best timing. The nutrient Instructions are confusing, too. Not sure if I killed most plants pr they're just deep inside the sponges. So far I think I killed them. I want to love this thing. I wish the maker/seller would reach put to me. I'd have better solutions to make this a 5-star deal! I'm still not sure about the app & if I have things set up correctly. No way to know at this point. 😞 Update: 7 tomato plants. Still having trouble with lighting features. I want it to go on at 5 am and off at 9 pm. Since you can't set it like a clock it's a pain. I still say this is a lack of instruction issue. Lack of instructions. Thought we'd set up a method for self watering. Our box window now has WATER DAMAGE from using the self watering feature that overflowed. We even put down protection, but it was too much water. I now have a house repair that will be costly. Not liking this system at all at this point. Another update: This is just a pain. Running more energy than it's worth. I have 2 other brands Idoo and mufga that are supposed to be lower end that are working great. But the justsmart isn't. Update: Gave up. Everything dies in this. I have 4 other brands and they work fine. This does not. Something is flawed in the design.

What a easy way to have fresh spices! Easy to use, absolutely love it.

It’s so cold outside that planting flowers is a bit difficult for me. But a hydroponic system can let me do this easily.

The hydroponic is functioning great and connects to my phone and the lights look nice and bright.
