James Bond Jaques Bogart Signature EDT Spray, 90 ml, Multicolor, (Pack of 1)

Being a lifelong fan of Humphrey Bogart in the movies I longed to try the alluring scents of Jacques Bogart. I had read many reviews online regarding Bogart’s ‘Signature’ Eau De Toilette. What can I say .. from the first spray of the bottle ‘I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship’ with Bogarts Signature. Upon first spray I was greeted by an explosion of antique leather, dark green moss , burning embers and a dash of citrus. Yes it reminds me Ralph Lauren Polo but this is deeper and more complex, more woody , more antique leather and more full of mystery. I decided to wear it for the first time today. I only sprayed twice on the back of my neck and upon entering my favourite bookstore I received several glances from other browsers. As I stood searching the isles for books I suddenly felt like I was transported back to a different era. An era of fine scents, fine clothing and an air of mystery. Upon dry down the scent never lost its envelope of mystery and seemed to release a different aroma each time I breathed in the winter breeze that evening while walking home. I was so enthralled I sat for two hours reading a paperback and gently caught the evening scent on my arm and back of neck as I watched the news at ten a tear fell from my cheek. Perhaps I had been Mr Bogart for a day ... but alas another day beckons , another job , another dollar... play it again Sam !!

I had the pleasure of wearing this fragrance very long time ago, and when I saw it again for that very cheap price I was wondering if it had changed like a lot of the old school fragrances for men; I then ordered one bottle;........what a surprise !!!! it still keeps that incredible big character and elegance of the past, obviously it has been reformulated but the main powerful image of this great cologne still is in its bottle; I am very happy I ordered this fragrance that now makes part of my wardrobe with my other aftershaves/colognes, ARAMIS, QUORUM, POLO (GREEN) GIVENCHY GENTLEMAN) and two not too expensive but manly as hell with very good projection and silage BRUMMEL and CUBA RED......I have always said and keep this for my fragrances "I WEAR A FRAGRANCE BECAUSE IT'S PART OF MY PERSONALITY AND THE WAY I AM, NOT TO PLEASE OTHER PEOPLE".....and old school power house fragrances for men are the representation of the mature-retro sexual-conservative-confident and independent alpha male.

Its a half decent every day wear. lasts about an hour.

Without any shadow of dought this is the very best after shave ever. I have been using it for nearly 30 years and nothing comes close. I will not consider anything else.
