Best tweeter you will ever buy I have 4 And they been the best sounding out of any tweeter I’ve ever owned horn tweeters are way to loud a tweeter should produce clean highs like drum cymbals and such not midrange well worth the price and well made and love how they mount if you have a decent amp that puts out clean power these things will shine

Sound great I still have to tune the amp its clipping but there takin 70 watts of power an I just backed the treble down a little until I can put a oscilloscope on an tune the gains im using a ds18 x4 4 channel amp cause its small tweeters fit perfect behind the A pillars in a 2017 f350 they dont have brackets I just set them back there an wired them in im gonna get more for the back but the treble goes thru out the whole crew cab truck with just 2 hidden in the A pillar under the windshield ive had 100 tweeters over 30 years these sound similar to the 3in big metal 300 watts bullet tweeters don't think about it just get them an since factory radios usually roughly put off 20 to 40 watts they should work just fine but adding a amp no more than 120 watts will kick a$$

Update: my tweeters were not blown the problem was my wire was knick by screw causing distortion. So far they sound amazing, clear and crisp. Would totally recommend I rate it 5 star because the quality, sound and price. Can't wait to keep adding prv products to my build as I go. I highly recommend the prv DSP it makes a total difference to the sound when done correctly.Old review My review is solely based off the material quality and feel of the tweeters only which I gave four stars. But unfortunately I can't not comment on the sound quality because of my mistakes and ruined the tweeters before I can really hear them since I was using a prv DSP I wanted to tune them into my system hopefully I will buy in future again and test them out

Top of the line tweeters. Out performs several of Focal tweeters I have owned at a fraction of the cost. Don't think twice, just get em.

The tweeters sound amazing crisp highs and very clear with the 32 mm silk dome. The built-in crossover made installation easy, and 240 W handling is more than enough. Downside: I had to return them because one of the wires was loose out of the box. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.

I build a lot of custom made portable Bluetooth speakers. I needed some high quality smooth tweeters (silk dome) with great sound. These are rated at 92dB. Not bad...but, I did add some 20-ohm (100w) resistors to knock them down a little in this current build in the attached photo here THE GOOD - Silk dome smooth - Price - Surface mount! Just cut a hole using a hole saw bit and mount...easy - High volume clarity w/o "piercing" shrill, sizzle, buzz -- most car audio tweeters do these things. These do not -- very impressive. - Excellent 2,000 - 20 kHz response that sounds lifelike and flat. No hot spots that I can hear THE NOT SO GOOD - Included capacitor is prewired and is fine for most -- but, for higher x-over you have to wire in another one. To me, a resistor works better (20-50 ohms) - Wires are about 20 AWG and quite short - Exposed hole where the wire goes into the backside...not good for sealed speaker boxes - No included rubber o-ring gaskets -- very surprised they didn't come with some BOTTOM LINE - This is a great sounding tweeter! There are some things that need "work arounds" but, not a deal breaker. I have been building speakers since the late 1970s...so, I know what is good and what is crap. These are a solid purchase and will suffice even the most critical/serious listeners. Kids that want high SPL (loud brain melting highs)...look elsewhere for tweeters

I bought these to replace my Alpine's in the front pods of my 2020 CRV. Yeah, they had some great reviews but also, it's really hard to find surface mount with a 2.3" outside diameter which these are. So, I read all the good reviews and figured let's just try them. Well, they are worth every penny and sound better than my Mylar Dome Alpines. These are Silk Dome and even at the lower price point, they sound fantastic. Thanks for PVR for the nice item for a great price. WooHoo!
