The ladder is great and seems durable. It looks great and operates just like the video. My husband is handy so he assembled/installed in about an hour. The directions aren’t great but he figured it out. It came in two large and long boxes. We also are trying to find a weight limit but didn’t see anything in the packaging. The wheels lock and unlock by hand. You cannot use your foot. Wheels must be locked while climbing or you’re likely to fall. It can be angled outward to climb, or tucked against the wall out of the way. We just got the 4ft rail but you can buy extensions.

Very nice product. We had a limited space on the side of the door to store the ladder. The ladder was narrow enough that it fit the area. However, the wheels had to be put inside to fit my application. They need to give you the overall dimensions for the ladder width. Ladder wasn’t the easiest thing to put together as lining up the screws and the steps prove to be challenging. The only questionable thing is the anchors for the bar. If you don’t hit studs, you may have to consider a different way of attaching them. Overall, very pleased with the product.

We had looked for 2 months or more for a ladder to access the loft portion of our closet. We needed an 8-9’ ladder and with wooden versions from the big box DIY stores we were looking at $1400+. Came upon this version, liked the description and videos, but thought “price is too good to be true”., I’m here to tell you this ladder is easy to assemble (using a bit of common sense—the plastic cylinders need to go in the holes before the screws do, not clearly described), with very high quality fit and finish, lightweight but strong and really well designed and thought through. Do not hesitate, order was fast, complete and is an amazing value.

Very good so far. Did have a screw break but I think that was the torque in my drill. Glad they had extra parts. Instructions were not overly clear but I figured it out but I’m not sure some people would.

After buying this I would seriously consider something else. Seller left out one step and one screw for the step; maybe the person who put 7 copies of the 'don't return until you let us try and fix' paper should have checked to make sure all the parts were in the box first. The instructions are garbage; nothing is mentioned about having to disassemble the wheels to mount to ladder. The spacers for the wheel screws don't stop like the step spacers, and now two are in the bottom of the ladder. Will update when seller replies to request for parts, but now I'm in ladder limbo until I hear back.

The ladder was perfect, very sturdy and well made. I was not going to order initially because of some of the reviews made by others but went ahead with it because it was the most affordable when it came to the library ladders and I’m glad that I did not only did it save on how much I spent. I got great quality product in return everybody’s preference is different than mine for this product is more than a 10 star.

For tiny home

Like everyone else said, the instructions were awful. They’re essentially two meaningless images with tiny unreadable illustrations. The Allen wrench that was included stripped out on the third screw (out of ~40) so I had to use my own tools. After about two hours of putting it together, I discover it’s so crooked it’s unusable; the pilot holes on one side are about 1” off from the other, so it leans. To top it all off, I have to spend two hours disassembling it just to get my money back. It seems sturdy, but this product is otherwise trash, and specially for almost $500.
