Very thick, well made. Not American style, but a Chinese tea cup, with iron content. There is no handle, it is bowl style, and it's very reasonably priced compared to some others.

I am completely in love with this teacup! Everything about it,from the cup itself to the packaging screams luxury and quality. First off, the style is simply beautiful. The glaze,paint job is absolutely mesmerizing. It's a gorgeous piece of art that makes every tea time feel special. Beyond the looks, the quality is superb. I love the feel of the cup in my hands and its weight it feels substantial and well made, not cheap or fragile. Its bowl style meaning no handle. I love the authentic feel to it. Overall, it is a super quality cup and clearly fired in a kiln with care. Finally, the presentation was excellent. The fact that it came in a super nice gift box makes it feel very expensive and upscale. It's wonderful that such a high end item is still such a great value for the price. Absolutely love it! A beautiful addition to my collection and a perfect gift for any tea lover.

Wow. What a gorgeous little tea cup/bowl. It’s absolutely stunning. The way the light shines off it is mesmerizing. It has a good weight to it, it’s thicker than most tea bowls I’ve encountered. I’m probably going to use it as a decor item rather than a tea cup, it’s too pretty to mar with water spots and the enzymes from dishwasher detergent. Would make a great gift.
