Good coffee; Why is it out of stock?
Makes a nice smooth, dark strong expresso and really good value for money. I like my coffee strong and smooth, this has no burnt flavour or bitterness and works well with my Delonghi bean to cup machine. Shame it seems to be out of stock now.

Makes a great cupppa
I've tried so many different brands of coffee beans over the years, and i reckon that this is one of my favourites, makes a really lovely cappuccino, very smooth and not overly bitter. The price is an absolute bonus! Highly recommended and would by again.

Great rounded coffee at a brilliant price
So impressed with these beans! We’ve tried so many types and this is by far one of the best options for the price. 1kg for £10.87! Amazing. As other reviews have said this is a great intense coffee flavour but without any bitterness. Lovely rounded flavour and personally I preferred it to other more pricey branded options but coffee is a very personal thing! Will definitely be buying again.

Great value quality coffee
Rock solid good value coffee.Dont be out off by the Robusta/Arabica mix.Its very well balanced , just a slight hint of bitterness which I actually enjoy. Good wake up coffee with cream/sugar and also excellent for a cappuccino/espresso. Not an incredible amount of crema but absolutely acceptable. For the price can't really fault it , way way better than the crappy Costa and on par with Lavazza for a lot less money.Unless you're happy to pay £20 per kilo I really can't fault it.

Quality & Flavour
Not a bad coffee for the price. Some coffee beans have skyrocketed in price recently and so alternatives are worth a try. I use this in a mocha pot and gives me the kick I need without bitterness.

Good Value for the Quality
Enjoyed these, worked well in my machines, both a drip and an espresso machine. I have had better but also have paid a lot moreand so certainly for a regular cup these were decent and certainly would buy again. Strong flavour with a medium to dark roast.

A little late in arriving, but worth the wait. Good price. Good taste. Recommended

I have to UPDATE! Disappointing after Doppio and Blend 1863
We have drunk a lot of excellent Pelican Rouge coffee but this is not one of them. It is very disappointing and was only purchased when the Doppio and 1836 Blends became unavailable. We will not be ordering any more from this manufacturer until our old blends reappear. This "replacement" has lost most of the richness and full flavours of the old ones. Its not just me, my wife came to the same conclusion at me quite independently. UPDATE 18/09/2023 This coffee was not to blame for the drop off in flavour as I switched to it. After trying several different makes and blends with equal disappointment our bean to cup coffee machine finally developed a terminal fault and was replaced with a new unit but exactly the same model, a Melitta Caffeo Solo. What a difference! The current batch of coffee beans which had been very disappointing in our old machine suddenly took on a new strength and flavour. One difference was thar the new machine would grind the coffee a lot finer but that was not the only difference as the old machine had been producing a good cup of coffee with the coarser grind. As the temperature seemed ok I can only think that the machine had developed a sudden drop in pressure which just happened to coincide with the change of beans. Sorry Pelican Rouge, I'll have to give you another try.
