The media could not be loaded. It's been a little over 10 days of regular use, and the batteries are still at 100%.While that's impressive, this lock has a lot more going for it.It comes with a Wi-Fi hub, the height between the latch and the deadbolt is adjustable, and just about every delegation option for access is available (key entry, Bluetooth entry, biometric entry, or code entry). There's also a "welcome" access option to leave the door unlocked for a period of time, say, for a party.All in all, I'm really happy with this purchase. I didn't see any media at the time of my purchase and review posting, so I've included videos and photos of my project (expansion of the deadbolt bore, installation of a custom door reinforcement plate, and the completion video); hope this helps someone.

The hardware itself is very rock solid, though installation is not trivial. There is a good instruction guide online but you need to be handy to install this lock. The only negative is that for a lock of this cost range you should be able to remotely engage the top lock.

I installed this device following precisely the installation manual as well as the Lockly installation video. Everything worked except the deadbolt. The deadbolt would only extract but not recess no matter the method I used to retract the deadbolt. I could only get it to retract by uninstalling the unit. I called Lockly's support. Spoke with April who is a delightful person. She referred the issue to their engineering group. Over the next week or so, it became very apparent the engineering group could care less about fixing the problem. Since Lockly chose to ignore my defective device's problem, they left me no choice. I returned the item. So, as a reviewer of the product, you should know that if you buy one you better hope it works out of the box. You won't get any support from their engineering department if it doesn't. Customer satisfaction is of little importance to Lockly.

Lock works as expected. Just that the door open/close notification takes some time (> minute), or sometimes doesnt update at all. sensor is less than 1/4" from the magnet. wifi hub is less than 3 ft away from the main internet router and the door lock . it's for a side door in the garage where the gateway is located so I dont think the problem is the proximity to the hub or the router. fingerprint reader works great. I wonder how long the fingerprint reader and touchscreen will last as the door is facing south and gets full sun in the summer. I did install a cover, for a ring doorbell. not an exact fit but at least it shades the screen and fingerprint sensor from direct sun. will update the review next year see how it stands against harsh summer sun.
