The LCD screen is clear and easy to read, even in less-than-ideal lighting. I recently used it during commissioning on a new ATS installation, and it performed exactly as expected; testing feeders was quick, straightforward, and reliable. The auto-discharge feature is a major safety advantage and gives peace of mind when working with stored energy. Overall, the meter is very user-friendly and efficient for its intended purpose.I already run a Fluke T6-600 and a Fluke 279 FC for my day-to-day metering, so I wasn’t looking for an all-in-one unit; just something dedicated to insulation testing. The 1503 fills that role perfectly without overcomplicating things.
