Use in case of emergency.
I wanted a second set of keys on case of an unexpected key loss or like in my case one year, I was riding as a passenger and for an unknown reason my pilot fell off taking the waverunner key with her into the water. I was dead in the water with no way to go back the thirty feet or more to get her. A second key on my vest would have made it easy for me to slide up to the pilot seat, start the engine and get her. Luckily family members were nearby on a second pwc and saw what happened so they were able to help get my pilot back on board.
