Worked very well in helping one of my rescue piggies gain weight. I adopted a sick little piggy who has been abandoned and fed her this for three weeks three times a day. She gained 100g and her hair grew nicely. Smells a lot nicer than the crital care which I also used. She prefered this

Recovery diet.
Use excel so thought I'd get this in just in case needed. I breed guineapig s and occasionally they do need a boost when I'll. As yet not needed to use but product arrived quickly at a reasonable price and feed excel to my piggies so know the quality of their foods.

Now comes in a sturdy resealable bag, not the box pictured. My rabbit finds this food appealing. As well as being prepared for syringe feeding it can be softened with water without losing it’s shape.

This is brilliant to use when rabbits are poorly
This is brilliant to use when rabbits are poorly, you can syringe feed to rabbits that are not eating in order to keep their gut moving before seeing the vet

Short shelf life date.
Sadly the expiry date is less than 3 months away, and as this is something you would use in times of stress, and not as an all the time feed, it does seem an awful waste. However, it has arrived and DougalBoris the piggy likes it enough to eat it. He is on Burgess as a daily feed, hence my choice in this one over another recovery brand
